Rent at PORCHSIDE PARADISE - Steps to Duval

Porchside Paradise is located in the front section of the Conch Republic Cottages. This beautiful home-away-from-home features an inviting and spacious front porch—great for people watching.

The unit is gated off from the other cottages, which makes it very private and great for pets too! The inside is beautifully decorated and features an updated kitchen complete with an ice-maker, refrigerator, coffee-maker, stove, oven, blender, and microwave. The upstairs loft has a king-sized bed and a skylight. The downstairs living area is equipped with a queen-sized sofa bed and sleeps two guests, if necessary.  

Porchside Paradise is one of three units that comprises the group property Conch Republic Cottages. The three units can be booked separately or as a group.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROPERTY NO LONGER HAS A HOT TUB AND DOES NOT HAVE A POOL . You may use the pool at Dante’s if you utilize their food and beverage services or you may purchase a day pass using the link below at any of the hotels located near your rental.

Plusses: Amazing location, cute, comfortable little bungalow, fully stocked, comfortable bed, great porch, adorable yard. Negatives: parking, parking parking, stairs. If you don't have a car and don't have a problem with stairs, rent this property!! You will love it! If you do have a car and have a problem with stairs, pick another property. We spent three hours looking for an available space and finally went to a parking garage two miles away and spent about 250 just on parking for the four days we were there. The bedroom is up a flight of stairs in a loft by itself. So you will need to carry your luggage up the porch steps and then up to the loft if you want your clothes there. If you are a frequent night time bathroom user, you will need to go up and down the stairs.None of those is the owners' fault. We just wanted everyone to be aware. We would stay here again, after learning our lesson.

Absolutely wonderful location, Just Needed More Information

First, let me tell you about the positives. The location is perfect for exploring Key West. It is right around the corner from all the restaurants and the sights. I can't stress how convenient this location is. Here what I wish I knew before I came down here. There was no parking at the location. It was an additional 50.00ish per night for parking down the street. It was a bit of a shock.

Updated, modern and just off of Duval St. It is on the small side but comfortable for 3 adults. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. No dishwasher, though it does have a full-sized washer and dryer. The bathroom is spacious and two people can comfortably be in it at same time. Other reviews commented on the upstairs loft/bedroom with its slanted ceiling. We're on the shorter size so it wasn't that much of an inconvenience. The covered front porch was very relaxing at the start and end of the day. We would rent again.

Cramped space, great location

The bedroom is in the loft which has an extremely slanted ceiling making it impossible to stand up straight which was frustrating. Listing mentioned an oven but there was not an oven. Weird quirk, whenever we turned on the downstairs TV the upstairs one would go on as well lol. It would be nice if there was some extra pillows and blankets for the couch! Customer service was excellent and location is excellent. Overall we had a great trip!

25 year Anniversary

Great location right off Duval. Easy to walk to the beach and all the restaurants around Duval. Bathroom is a good size for a smaller property and the kitchen is well equipped. We would stay again.

Great little place

It’s literally a hop skip and a jump to Duval street yet you can’t hear the noise. The upstairs loft bedroom has pitched ceiling and you can not stand up in there at all. That’s the only thing I don’t like. I suggest extra blankets for person using couch to sleep. They had everything you need beach towels. Plenty of bath towels. Laundry pods for washer dryer. Coffee filters etc it’s a very small place but we managed just fine with two adults our 19 year old daughter and a dog. My only concern is that loft upstairs.

Great location

The location of this property is what we liked most. It’s a block off Duval and right in the middle towards either end. It’s also the quietest of the many places we’ve stayed. We barely heard anything. We usually can hear roosters at 4am or street noise at the places we stay. The unit was clean, nice front porch, laundry was great, stocked with beach towels and kitchen accessories. Coffee pot, but no coffee provided however. Now for what we didn’t like. The loft is a tight squeeze. You cannot stand up straight. We’re able bodied and not large people, but this area would be a problem for many. There is a shade over the skylight, but it was open when we arrived and the loft took a long time to cool down because of this. Keep the shade closed unless you want to cook upstairs. The check in process was sort of silly. We had to go to the rental office only to be given a door keypad code. Would be nice if they’d just save you the trip and email or text the code. We had three instances of someone trying to enter our unit. One of those was successful. The house keeper entered our unit without knocking an hour before we had to check out. Luckily we were decent. The other two instances were guests of the other two units around the sides of the house. Seems like better directions should be provided to find the other units. The couch is sad and should be retired. There’s no support left. We used it to unpack our stuff onto since there’s nowhere in the loft.

Small but Quaint

The place was small, but nice. Had a little mixup on where to check in at, but the owner came and picked us up and got us where we needed to go. He was really great! The loft left some headroom so we recommend keeping your clothes on the first floor and just use the loft to sleep in.

Cozy and close to all the action

Nice little home! Clean and bright, well decorated, well equipped with everything you need - range, microwave oven, fridge, washer/dryer. Nice sized bathroom. Living space small; for one person works very well, would be cramped with two. Only one small closet, and upstairs bedroom only works to sleep on the bed, low slanted ceiling renders the rest of the room unusable. Nice wrap around well-let porch with furniture. Steps away from Duval Street, great location. Worked great for my little get away!

Tucked away, yet close to it all

We had a great stay at the Porchside Paradise. We rented a golf cart, scooters and bikes from the place just around the corner during our stay. The cabin is small, but sufficient for two people. The bedroom ceiling upstairs is low (so tall people watch out) but the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our time in Key West and would recommend staying at the Porchside Paradise!

Great Location

This rental is in a great central location. The front porch and picket fenced front garden worked well for us and our pets. There is no view, but it is a nice covered space to sit outside. This place is small! Nice updated galley kitchen with washer and dryer. And a good bathroom. The living area is small but efficient. There isn’t a bedroom. Those steep stairs lead to a very low slanted ceiling loft. I could not sit up at the end of the bed without hitting my head, and I’m short. The photos of the loft did not indicate how low the ceiling really is. There is no bedroom closet or standing space to keep your open suitcase. So our suitcases were open with us in the small living room. The front door closet is the only closet. Just know, this is a very small front side of a cottage. We were expecting something bigger from the photos. Great attentive property manager, Easy access. perfect location to walk everywhere. So it’s all about your priorities in a rental. As always we had a great time in KW,

Surprisingly Quiet

Our stay overlapped with Fantasy Fest, and even with all the things going on, this place was surprisingly quiet inside. We enjoyed the porch a lot, great fun watching people coming & going. Kitchen has been remodeled & is beautiful.

Great getaway, fantastic location

Awesome property With excellent amenities. We liked having the kitchen and washer and dryer. A few steps to the action on Duval Street. The pool was 2 blocks away but absolutely beautiful. Property was as described and shown in the photos. Office staff was great to deal with. We’d love to return to this place!

Lovely place, perfect location

First trip to Key West. The place was so perfect, comfortable, clean and lovely (beautiful water color painting of Key West that I wanted to steal Lol). The location was ideal. Plan to return to both Key West and Porchside Paradise when we can. My puppy loved it too, afternoon naps on the porch were her favorite.
