Winter walking trip
A perfect property for us. We were a group of 4 adults that visited for a winter walking trip.
We know Keswick well and the property is in a perfect location, a short wander to the shops and more importantly the pubs!
The car park is also only a 2 minute wander away.
We found the agent for the keys easily, there were no fussy introductions or rules scripts. Just a polite “hello” and the keys and parking permit were handed over.
The property was very clean and had everything we needed. However WiFi would be a great addition as some of the group had hoped to use mapping apps to plan walks that needed internet access to do so.
The property was very well heated however the visitor book advises against using both showers simultaneously, I am a heating engineer so am fully aware that a standard combination boiler will not supply 2 showers at the same time! Perhaps an electric shower in the upstairs bathroom would be a good idea? A minor grumble.
We will almost certainly use Skiddaw view again as it was all but perfect for our needs.
