  • Well-equipped mid terrace cottage situated in a quiet elevated position close to Keswick town centre.. 10 steps to entrance.

    Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

    Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed

    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot. . Enclosed lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Parking permit for 1 car, £10 deposit. No smoking.. The Fells is an ideal cottage for a holiday in the Northern Lakes. As the owners’ much loved Lake District base, it is comfortable and well equipped, with personal touches making it a real home from home. Elevated in a quiet corner above Keswick, there are extensive, unobstructed views across the roof tops towards the surrounding fells - yet the town centre, with all its amenities, is only a couple of minutes’ walk away. During the evening you can relax in the living room with an electric flame-effect fire on with snug sofa and chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up a feast. There are front and rear lawned gardens with beautiful flowers and shrubs with a sitting-out area for you to enjoy. Families, walkers and pet owners will love the location, close to Fitz Park with its children’s playground and quick access on to the open fells. 50 metres down the quiet, narrow lane in front of the cottage is a footbridge over the River Greta into Fitz Park. No wonder some guests have returned for over fifteen years! Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

We had a great time in the fells.

We had a great time in the fells. The facilities in the accommodation were first class and this ensured that our holiday was a great success. Based in the heart of Keswick there were quite a few walks from the accommodation that were possible. I thought the Long Stay Car park for our car would have been an issue but it was no problem as if we went out for the day on our return the carpark was emptying.

This is the fourth time we have stayed in this cottage, which should be recommendation enough! Central location yet quiet, with all the facilities you would want. Lots to do with two primary aged kids. A problem with the heating (whereby the boiler couldn’t connect with the thermostat) was fixed the very next day. We have already booked again for next year! This was our third stay at the Fells and we will hopefully be back again. Great location - very central but at the same time, quiet; lovely small garden out the back, kitchen and bathroom both done up recently, and all that you would need in a holiday cottage. Very near Fitz Park, as well as the town centre. Would highly recommend this holiday appartement.

This cottage is well situated in the centre of Keswick but quiet with a lovely garden. We have stayed here several times but unusually this time the cottage had not been properly cleaned with human and dog hair in evidence including in one of the the beds where the sheets had not been changed.Bedroom carpets had not been cleaned

The Fells was recommended to us and didn't disappoint. It was like a home from home. It had everything you needed to enjoy our holiday. Having towels was great as was the bottle of wine. We have already booked for next summer. Definitely a ten out of ten.

We have returned to this cottage for about sixteen years and it is perfect for accessing all the ame

We have returned to this cottage for about sixteen years and it is perfect for accessing all the amenities that Keswick has to offer, and the wider countryside with plenty of walking and lake activities too. The town centre is within 200 metres but it is in a very quiet spot next to Fitz Park. Its only drawback is that cars have to be parked in a nearby car park and if other family members bring their cars, it can work out quite expensive over the week. (There is a car park pass for one car.)
