"We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. "My friend and I stayed here for a few days and we had a great time. The apartment was super clean, really modern, spacious and comfortable and just the perfect place to go back to after a long walk. It’s near loads of nice bars, restaurants and coffee shops in a great location with nearby parking provided by the host. Steve was quick to respond to any messages and queries we had. "The cottage has a lovely location nestled in the trees and with great mountain views. The interior spaces are on the whole comfortable and well equipped, except for the bathroom which is very small. Despite feeling away from it all you are only a 10 minute drive from Keswick (and also has a good bus service if you want to leave the car behind). One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "The location of this property and the area it sits in are all perfect. The property itself however is a little tired inside and out and could do with some updating/ decorating. The double bed is so hard to the point that I found it uncomfortable and not easy to sleep in. Communication with Cumbrian cottages that run the property was non existent.
