Make yourself at home in this 2-bedroom Kansas City retreat. This peaceful house features 2 queen beds, a jetted bathtub, AC, WiFi, and more. Experience what Kansas City has to offer with a stay at our cottage!
We do charge an extra $20 per night for more than 2 we do have a dog named bear! If he bothers you please let us know!people. You may get a visit from our dog Bear!!! Self checkin with smart lock at 3:00pm. No early checkins without prior approval. Code will be given an half hour before 3:00pm. *No shoes in house. *.No pets. * NO Smoking or candles. Including cannabis $150 fee will be charged if there is smell of smoke. *The only people allowed to stay at the property are those on the reservation. For every undeclared guest, the person reserving the the listing will be charged$50 night per undeclared guest. This fee must be paid immediately upon contact with the host * check out is at 10:00am. After a 20 minute grace period. Unauthorized late checkouts will be charged $75/hour late, including partial hours.*Guests are expected to reasonably clean up after themselves, including picking up trash, doing the dishes,taking out the trash, and hanging up towels. Leaving furniture and other objects inside the property arranged how they were found. *.Guests may not tamper with or disable any communication devices including Wi-Fi and security cameras. *No parties. *Sensitive septic system *nothing but toilet paper down the toilet! If a plumber is called a $250 charge will be added to your stay. *Gardening, mowing, weed eating, watering flowers will be done weekly and will let guests know ahead of time. *Guests are responsible for the cost of any damages to the property during their stay. General damage is $100 unless damage cost exceeds $100. The key to avoiding misunderstandings and potential conflict is good communication! If a tenant goes silent or ignores communication from the host, the reservation may be terminated without refund!

First listing

I believe this was the first listing for this location. I can appreciate there is a learning curve for the hosts. But the communication was tailored for their own needs, not for the needs of the guests. They didn’t make it easy or make it feel welcoming. The place was comfy, clean and pleasant. But there is a neighborhood dog, named bear, who was on the porch the first evening we got there. He was sweet and gentle, but he also roamed nearby, all night long, barking. It was not in any way a restful stay.
