Wonderful View of the Ocean

Beautiful view of Kona and the Ocean. We were able to wake up each morning to the waves crashing and what a wonderful noise! Overlooks the swimming pool but it wasn’t an issue for us. Was needing to leave about a half hour later and they were very accommodating to us taking extra time to pack and clean. Thus was our second time in Sea Village and everything was perfect beyond getting a noise complaint when we were all sleeping. Maybe it was next door making the noise and we were sent a message saying we would recieve a fine if we get another noise complaint. Besides us getting this text for someone else’s noise we were grateful for such a clean and beautiful stay. We will be back!

Beautiful location

Aloha! We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were fabulous & the location was perfect for our small group of four. Walkable to farmers markets, downtown & beaches. One suggestion that I have before you rent this unit is to check with the agency on any construction projects that are happening on the property and near the condo. We experienced a major construction event outside this condo/deck that was noisy and disruptive. This made it impossible for us to be in the unit during construction hours.

Great view close to downtown

This condo was perfect for our stay in Kona. We could walk to downtown in 15 minutes. We love sitting on the Lanai and watching the waves. It was interesting to watch the cruise ships as well. We only used the pool once but it was nice. The unit gets a lovely breeze at night with all of the windows open so there was no need for AC even on some of the hot days. It was very convenient having laundry and the kitchen was fully stocked. Tons of beach supplies included, boogie boards, chairs, coolers, towels. Parking was easy as well.

Gorgeous View

With the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean we were totally thrilled to wake up and have our coffee on the deck. The unit was clean and had plenty of supplies for the ocean...coolers, snorkel gear, boogie boards, towels etc. We grilled in the shared area one night and ate under the stars. Bedrooms were nice and bathrooms were updated. Would definately return.

Big island Kona stay

The place was clean, items available like beach towels etc. a few items needed care ( loose towel bar in main bath , light by bed in room had bad switch ? ) really overall good stay . We could walk 15 min to close shopping. Great view . And ghe fans helped us stay cool . No AC.

We found the condo well prepared for our stay. They even had Hawaiian music playing and the fans already on when we got there. Plenty of furniture, comfortable beds, and items for us to take to the beach. The place was great!

Great place!

My family & I really enjoyed our stay. View of ocean from lanai can’t be beat. Dolphins out every morning. Pool & hot tub were also fantastic! It’s a little bit of a trek to downtown Kona on foot in the heat so we only did that once.. luckily plenty of parking downtown so not an issue. Tip: I’d definitely recommend a grocery run to Safeway or Sacknsave if your just arriving to the island before checking in because the on-site cafe closes at 11:30 and no food really close on foot.

Great stay at Sea Village

The major attraction of this apartment is the balcony overlooking the ocean, which was incredible! The sound of the ocean, cool sea breeze and dramatic sunsets. The condo itself is very basic and a little tired. The kitchen is minimally stocked. Definitely all the pots and pans you need for cooking but not much in the way of spices or condiments. There are no beach chairs, beach towels or anything else that you might want for your trips to the beach. We didn't realize how much that meant to us until the second half of our stay at a different condo that had everything, including chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, coolers, tennis rackets etc! The pool area and hot tub were lovely and there were excellent communal barbecue grills. The other main advantage is that the condo is close to town and there is a lovely coffee shop on the property. Disadvantages were that the bedrooms in the back looked right over the parking lot and garbage area, and I was awakened at 4 am one morning by the garbage trucks coming to pick up. The condo is managed by a major realty company and you could do better price wise by contacting them directly to rent through them.

Excellent location close to center of Kailua-Kona. Right on the water with view up the coast toward town and waves crashing at the property edge. Perfect for 2 couples or family of 3-5. Very good beds, very clean. Small but adequate kitchen. More than satisfied. No instructions for clothes washer and dryer. Dryer ran once, then wouldn't start again after it stopped. On-site business offers take-out drinks, breakfast and lunch items. Very convenient.
