  • Relax on the Kona Coast in scenic Kailua-Kona, this vacation home features oceanfront views and is perfect for a family or group of friends.

    Kona Reef is next to Honles Beach and is blissfully tranquil. Enjoy being close to the iconic Alii Drive and downtown Kailua Village where you can enjoy local restaurants, shopping, and more. Kona Reef is in a terrific location. The panoramic ocean views from your private lanai are breathtaking. You will be able to enjoy beautiful sunsets and the stunning Kona Coast.

    This one-of-a-kind three-bedroom, three-bathroom property, with stunning oceanfront views. Enjoy your large lanai with ample seating to relax and listen to the ocean.

    Upon entry, this property has a guest room with a queen bed and a guest bathroom with a bathtub and shower combination located off the hallway for privacy.

    Cook up some dinner at home in your fully stocked, and upgraded kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Relax at the built-in breakfast bar or have a sit-down dinner. The dining room boasts a dining table for a sit-down dinner for six. There are large sliding glass doors that are located off the dining area to the lanai.

    The open layout of the dining room that flows out to the living area allows ample space. There is a smart television and couches for a comfortable living space. There is also a desk for a great work area. You can stream your favorite show, watch cable, or go old-school and watch some DVD favorites from the collection.

    There is a guest room off the living area with two twin beds. The guest bathroom is located off the hallway for guests. In the hallway, there is also a washer and dryer.

    The primary ensuite is located down the hallway which allows ultiamte privacy. The large room has a seating area, king bed, and television. The bathroom has a stand-alone vanity and a tiled shower. The primary bedroom also has a split air conditioning unit.

    The lanai that is off the living area and dining room has a table and seating to relax. Enjoy a cup of Kona coffee and watch the waves roll in.

    -There is a split air conditioning unit in the dining room and primary bedroom.
    -There are stairs to get to this unit.

The location, the view and the amenities are a amazing! But the only reason I hesitate to put the 5 star is because some of the appliances were old and the dishwasher was broken, it does need a revamp in some of the pans, kitchen utensils, fans and lighting fixtures.But if you aren’t staying inside too long is a great place!

Convenient location, enjoyed many activities around Kona, walkable to town. Several great snorkeling beaches in the area. Easily accommodated 6 adults, enjoyed the lanai and views every morning and evening! The pool /hot tub are great. The only issues is the carpet is stained in several spots, some outlets don’t work, and the dishwasher smells musty. But that being said, I would definitely book again. Location made everyone in our group happy!

Everything really was perfect, especially the location. We walked to everything, including our luau, the farmers market, local entertainment, and food. The view from the balcony was spectacular with not only beautiful rocks and water, but also lots of people on boogie boards and surfboards in the water. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Our accommodations in this beautiful oceanfront condo helped to make our stay fun and memorable. The property includes a Lovely pool area with 4 gas grills for family dinners overlooking the ocean.

Great family time

Great condo, for us and our two grown boys and their girlfriends. The location is great for walking into town, great patio to watch the sunset and totally enjoyed the pool/hot tub/grill area.

If you book this place it is for the view. You don’t get closer to the ocean. Location is great. Quiet, yet you are close enough to walk to shops and restaurants.For the price you pay, there are no working power outlets in the bathrooms. Half of the lights in the unit do not work. After renting I see this was commented in another review months ago. I brought it to management attention. I’m sure nothing has been addressed. With the amazing view I could deal with sitting in the dark. My wife sure would of like to be able to do her hair in the bathroom though.

Location Location Location!

We loved our stay and the location was amazing. Sitting right on the ocean, the views and sounds were amazing. We witnessed the most glorious sunsets, and walked to town a couple times. The air conditioner and ceiling fans kept us comfortable and desk area was key for my husband being able to work as needed. The elevators were broken (which is no reflection on the owners of the unit) but it did make lugging our heavy luggage a task since it's on the 3rd floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Ocean front Kona dream vacation

Kona Reef was the perfect accommodation for my family: myself, spouse and 3 adult women, The view is fantastic. Sunsets and morning coffee was beautiful. The condo is easy walk to shops and restaurants. Condo was clean, well appointed and very conferrable.

Fantastic oceanfront location!

Condo comes with everything. Snorkeling nearby everyday, followed by a short walk to town for fabulous food, drinks and sunsets. Don’t miss the Kona Inn, best Mai Tai’s! So much to do there.

Fantastic Ocean View

Condo was spacious. Best attribute was large porch overlooking the pacific and hearing the waves 24/7. Condo is dated and appliances are old. and was sort of dark inside. Great location and easy walk to dozens of shops, restaurants, and bars. 15 minutes from the airport. The location could not be any better.

Family vacation filled with fun!

We had a marvelous time on the big island! The beautiful and roomy condo made it easy to relax after a busy day. Thank you for having beach towels, ice chests and even a big beach umbrella! With the purchase of a few groceries it was perfect! Great kitchen, big bathrooms, and we enjoyed the large lanai!

Catching the sights and our breath

Ideal location, so easy to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Clean property with well stocked kitchen facilities. Quiet area with only the relaxing sound of the waves. Pool and hot tub are also clean. Only thing that would have helped is to label the switches. The track lights in the master bedroom and fan in master bathroom were not working.

Roomy condo had everything we needed. Amazing view, great location, comfortable inside and out on the lanai. Really really pleased. Even a nice desk if you HAD to work. Good beach accessories stashed in the closet: noodles, mats, chairs, boards, umbrella, cooler, fins and goggles too. I should re-book for next year now that I think about it...

Great family get away!

This property was the perfect feel and location for my husband, myself, two adult sons, and daughter-in-law! Enough space for everyone to both share time together and privately. This beautiful condo had all the beach items and cooking equipment for our every need. Fabulous location, incredible view of ocean and wildlife. Walking distance to everything! Condo was perfect with the exception of sub par air conditioning. First day was the worst as it was really hot in the unit. If you need really cool AC this may not be the spot for you. We had a fabulous time!

Great location next to ocean. Had a great stay. Only complaints were 1. The bathroom vent in the bathroom near the washer/dryer was plugged with dust and needs to be cleaned. 2. In the letter for incoming things to be aware of, it stated there was an “outdoor hose” to use to wash off beach sand. It would have been helpful to know exactly where it was and it was to locate.

You are paying for the location and the view. The rest is equivalent to a two or three star hotel. My opinion is the bare minimum is done to keep things going to maximize profit.The mini split ac is a bit of a joke. It is hard to feel any air flow at the required 72 limit. The fans help it not to feel stuffy. The lanai is awesome the rest not so much.
