Solo Traveler First Time to Kona

Very good location, slightly away from the hubbub of the downtown area. Clean, comfortable property has it all. On the ocean, pool, relaxing area to sit, grill, and enjoy the calm. Definitely would consider a repeat stay here.

Property

The view and the surronding property are fantastic. The small beach area in front of the condo is very nice for relaxing and listening to the ocean. The other feature is the barbecue area where you cook dinner and enjoy eating right at the tables provided.

Fantastic view!

The check in process was so easy! You could hear the sound of the waves from inside and that was exactly what I was looking for. The bed was very comfortable and the wifi worked perfectly. I’d definitely stay here again.

Spectacular Ocean View

The sunsets from the lanai are absolutely gorgeous. Kitchen and everything we needed and the entire home was very clean. It is in a quieter stretch of Kona, which we loved, but still convenient to restaurants and stores in the area. Bonus that they had snorkel gear for us to use. We would definitely choose this unit again if we return to the Big Island. Communication with the property management was excellent. Great experience all around!

Fantastic spot There isn’t one thing you could say against this accommodation Everything you could possibly need plus the best sunset view through to great communication with resort owners The condo, gardens etc were all clean and well maintained Small grocery store next door free trolley bus you can catch outside if you feel energetic it is around a 20-30 minute walk to town We highly recommend E21

Truly an oceanfront property

Fantastic view from the balcony. Spent any hours just adring the views. Condo was well equipped and well maintained. One of the ost enjoyable stays I have had in Hawaii. Hope to return soon.

Amazing stay!

My husband and I loved our little condo in Kona Isle! We had an unbelievable ocean view and could see the sunset so perfectly! It was clean and had cute island decor all throughout the condo. There is one AC Unit in the living room, but it cooled the entire place no problem! I highly reccomend staying here.

Condo as described. Please to find that we did not need to run right out and get the basics such as hand soap, toilet paper and tissues. Great location and as always when in any Hawaiian Island terrific sunsets! Mahalo!!

Condo on the beach

Watched dolphins and whales from our balcony. We used the BBQ's and liked them. Wife floated in the saltwater pool in front of condo. Caught the free kona trolley on the street behind our condo going both directions many times. Condo was great and the view was awesome!

Location, view, facilities, it’s got itcsll

The place is a one bedroom condo with a decent kitchen, balcony and awesome ocean view. Unit is nicely equipped with all you need in the kitchen (except we had to buy a kettle), beach supplies and essentials. My only area of concern was the deck chairs, the cushions are worn out and uncomfortable. The complex pool and BBQ’s are excellent as are the lounge chairs and picnic tables by the water. We will be back.

A Perfect Location

Our condo at the Kona Isle Condominiums was the perfect place for my wife and I on our honeymoon. Our unit was clean, well kept and air conditioned. The lanai overlooking the pool, beach and ocean was like looking at a postcard. Sunrises and Sunsets out there were magical. We loved every minute. Our only negative (if you can call it that) was the lack of AC in the bedroom. We slept on the pullout couch in the living room, which was super comfy, just because the bed room was too hot at night.

Perfect location!

Property was in a perfect location! View was amazing! We sat on the balcony every chance we had! Only downfall is the air conditioner does not reach well to the bedroom but we were provided with a fan that helped circulate the air. But we were provided with a lot of amenities most places do not provide. The cooler was an exceptional help when we were out running and visiting the island. I was very pleased with all the extras provided!

Kona Isle

This place had everything we were looking for. The location is great, the place well stocked and you can’t beat the sound of crashing waves and the unobstructed oceanfront view. The complex is quiet, but still very family/kid friendly. The beach chairs and umbrella were great, but wish there had been a small cooler to use. Yes, the place could use a few fixes- a cupboard needed a new hinge, more outlets near the bed to plug in devices, a cheese grater in the kitchen- but these were small issues and easy to work around. I will never understand why people pay the high prices of a resort with all the added fees and crowds when you can have your own slice of heaven like this one.

Oceanfront dream

Just imagine: morning Kona coffee with ocean breeze, magnificent Hawaii sunset at your own lanai, pacific waves crashing into rocks when you asleep… these are our daily experiences when staying at Kona isle E21. It’s magical. This condo was the perfect base for my son and I’s week long stay at Kona. Very convenient location, quiet and clean. Kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need for a breakfast or light dinner. AC in livingroom only but strong enough to keep bedroom comfortable for sleeping. We actually loved turning it off at sleeping so we hear the ocean! If you have a smaller group, no more than 4, this is your dream place to stay in Kona. Thank you, we will be back!

We had an amazing direct ocean view and fell asleep and woke up to the soothing sound of the waves every day! The property was older, but well-maintained, quiet, and in great shape. Our unit was cozy with beautiful decor. We loved having our morning coffee while watching the surfers and catching the stunning sunsets from the lanai.It was so convenient to have a full kitchen and laundry right in our unit. The only small thing we wished for was a bigger fry pan, but honestly, we had everything else we needed. When the dishwasher stopped working, we called the property manager, and someone came out within the hour to fix it. The living room had AC, but the bedroom didn’t. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was a bit slow, but we found extra fans in the closet that kept the room cool enough. The coral sand beach on the property was the perfect spot to relax with umbrellas and lounge chairs. The pool was a great spot too and kept very clean, daily. Although we didn’t use the grills, we saw several people grilling nearby. The public saltwater pool next to the property, by the beach, looked a little sketchy, but it was a great spot to have a morning swim, protected from the rocks. You could snorkel with the fish there too. (snorkels in our unit)We were just a short walk away from the Ali'i Garden Markets, where we picked up fresh fruit, veggies, and the best banana bread. There was also a small market and coffee shop in walking distance. We definitely will rent this spot again!
