  • Enjoy a beautifully upgraded 1-bedroom condo at the Kona Reef offering all of the comforts you would expect in our island's tropical paradise.
    C-22 is located in the desirable C building from which you overlook the pool and the ocean. Many dolphins and whales can be observed from this condo and turtles can be spotted on the lava rocks. The lanai presents you the with the most gorgeous and varying sunsets you can imagine.
    Tastefully decorated and remodeled with a walk-in shower, this condo is equipped to make you feel relaxed while you make this 'your home away from home' in Hawaii. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the large and small appliances that you might need if you choose to prepare your own meals. A washer and dryer are inside the unit, as well as air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. High speed internet (WiFi), and free calling are included at no extra charge.

    And for those of you who need to work or love video chatting with family or friends,

    The complex offers 4 gas grills, covered outdoor eating area, saltwater pool and hot tub. Next door is a white sand beach.
    There is an elevator, but stairs are required for access to all units.

Property is great, condo is stocked well, linens, towels, and beds are good quality and made stay very comfortable. The only thing I would recommend to owner is to update air conditioner to a mini split for better cool air coverage and efficiency. The property manager was always responsive and accommodating to all requests. Will return next year and definitely stay here if condo is available.

Great Stay!

We appreciated the location, pool, beach-access, and condo. Everything was as described, and the location made access to the downtown Kona area easy and fun. We would readily stay again.

Lovely spot in kona

Beautiful, updated, clean place to stay while visiting kona. Close to the little shops and tons of restaurants. Gorgeous view while relaxing at the beginning and end of the day to see and hear the rolling ocean waves.

Great communication with the host. There were a few service issues and they were addressed right away. The location is ideal. We were talking distance from the heart of Kona. Safeway was 5 minutes away and Target was 8 minutes the other way. Kona Brewing Co.is close by, featuring growlers to take home and great food. Casago had an empty growler under tge sink for refilling. The condo is cosy. Sunsey was announced by people blowing conch shells. We looked former to that every night.

Perfect spot

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kona Reef. Awesome location, excellent facilities, gorgeous view of the sunsets every night and all the other guests/residents were super friendly & respectful. It was very quiet and I slept soundly each night. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

Tired, run down property. Many lack of maintenace issues really influnced our stay. This is our fourth time at this property and while we will return to Kona Reef. we will not stay in C22

Great Location

The condo was clean and well appointed. I could rate it as cheap and cheerful. The location was great, short walk to the stroll but far enough away donut was a quiet retreat.

Great location

This condo had a fantastic location. The condo was simple but adequate. My husband loved the large TV. And our view was wonderful! Our one complaint would be the bed. It was not very comfortable.

Really nice

This was a great location, up keep of pool and grounds was well cared for. We loved that they had lots a beach equipment for use. Also, the blender was moldy and they replaced it with a new one that same day. Could use an up grade on the bed and USB ports.

Positive - Good location. Excellent view. Comfortable accommodations. Good customer service. Negative - Bugs in the kitchen. Bed and pillows too soft for us.

Perfect condo for us

We had a small group and did not want to spend a lot on a condo. This place was right on the water, had a great view of the sunset from the balcony, and the door was literally a few steps from where you park in the garage. The location of the property is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Couldn’t ask for a better place, especially for the money. Would definitely go back.

Proximity to the ocean... spectacular!

Every morning we sat on the lanai, drank coffee, and enjoyed the ocean's sights & sounds! Our evenings were enhanced by the person who sounded the conch as the sun set! Rooms were spacious, kitchen & bath clean, and we loved having the laundry in the room! Location, close enough for a comfortable & safe walk into town. Recommendation: add some type of dehumidifier.

Rough start but great place

Trying to check in was terrible. We had no code and could not get anyone on the phone. Kurt, the property manager. Who doesn’t even manage this property, was wonderful and tried to help every way he could. Once in the place was great!

Perfection

The view of the ocean was even better than expected! And we could hear the waves crashing and feel the ocean breeze all night. The unit was very clean and nicely appointed. We absolutely loved the location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping in Kona. Plenty of free parking at the condo. The beach chairs provided were great and used at the little sandy beach right next door. The management company was very responsive. I would definitely recommend C-22!!
