Wonderful!

We loved our stay at this vacation rental. It was quiet and had a beautiful ocean view. The unit was nicely furnished, spacious and well-stocked. It had everything we needed. The grounds are lovely. There is a grocery store nearby. The owner is friendly, quick to respond, and accommodating.

Peace and quiet with a biew

What a view and a very comfortable stay on the Big Island. Well equipped and very organized. We loved cooking and enjoying quiet dinners with our friends. Stayed here two other times and each time I felt like coming home.

Great condo for family of 5

We had a really excellent stay at this condo. We were there with our 3 kids (ages 29, 24, and 10). It is very spacious, giving us all opportunity to be comfortable and have room to spread out. We hosted grandparents for dinner comfortably using the indoor and outdoor dining areas. The only thing to note is the twin beds are small, like extra narrow and our 10 year old fell out of the bed a couple of times. These beds are really designed for small people, definitely not a larger adult. Not a big deal, but something to note if planning for a group of adults.We loved it and would definitely book this condo again. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful views!

This property did not disappoint! The views could not be beat…we made sure not to miss a single sunset :) Can’t imagine a better place to watch it! The condo was so clean and the kitchen had all we needed and more. We loved staying in Sotuh Kona away from the hustle and bustle. If we come back to the Big Island, we certainly would come back to stay here!

Everything and More!

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful condo along with our two grown sons, ages 18 and 20. We could not have been happier! We are frequent VRBO renters and this place is among our favorites. Not only is the view unobstructed and beautiful, we loved the amenities at the resort. We played tennis (with the supplied rackets and balls!) and swam at the pools each day (beach towels supplied as well)! They even have snorkeling gear and boggle boards!! The kitchen is FULLY stocked. As a frequent VRBO renter, we have seen it all -- and this was the best we have encountered! We literally had not one basic item we needed that was not supplied -- only needed to buy our groceries and were able to cook full meals with the supplied pots/pans/spices/oils/utensils). It's spacious, well kept, very clean and super conveniently located! We really loved our stay!! Also, the management unexpectedly scheduled maintenance during our stay which required them to turn the water off for 6 hours one day. We were pleasantly surprised that the owner credited us for the inconvenience. Truly appreciated that! If we ever have the chance to return to the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful beachfront condo

The location of this condo was amazing. It has everything we needed and it was a huge plus to have A/C in August. The sunsets from the patio was truly incredible. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. I highly recommend this vacation condo. The owner/manager Kathy was super responsive.

Wonderful family stay

This rental was perfect for my parents, two kids, wife and me. The sound of crashing waves directly outside the unit was wonderful and it came stocked with just about everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation, including a storage locker full of goggles, masks and snorkels, water shoes, etc. It’s also right down the street from the nighttime manta ray snorkeling (awesome thing to do!), which was super convenient.

Wonderful ocean view condo!

We stayed for seven nights at this lovely condo on Hawaii. The private balcony overlooking the ocean was fabulous. We had Kona coffee there every morning and watched the sun set every night. The beds were comfortable, the washer and drier worked well and the owner was very responsive. The unit had an outdoor closet full of snorkeling and other beach equipment, which was very helpful. We did not have to find a snorkel shop to rent. The condo's pools and tennis courts were a plus for us. We used our rental car to go to the different beaches each day, which worked for us. We would definitely return to stay at this unit and hope to do so soon!

Wonderful condo

Really fantastic location right on the water. Very well equipped condo with all the stuff you need but dont want to pack. Only complaint is the wifi coverage is poor and will not cover the lanai. Badly in need of a mesh wifi or wifi extender to fill in coverage to front of unit. Otherwise, fantastic.

Condo was exactly as described it was completely stocked with everything we would have needed for weeks of stay. Owners were friendly and answered questions quickly. Best winter escape ever!

We absolutely loved this condo! Waking up to the ocean waves below the deck every morning with coffee was absolutely heavenly! The condo had anything you could ever want, plus was beautiful! We loved the tennis court and Oceanside pool!I would seriously rent this place again when we come back to the Big Island!

Best Hawaiian Trip Ever

Kathy the owner was awesome and communicated so well with me (especially with all the issues with Covid. The condo is absolutely fabulous and well stocked. Our daughter got engaged on one of the most beautiful sunsets while we were there. Hope to go back next year.

Best view and location in Kona!

We had an amazing time at 1804 Kanaloa at Kona!! The property is absolutely stunning and the views are unbeatable. It was perfectly clean, updated and this unit was stocked with everything you could possibly dream of. It is very clear that the owner of this property loves this home and has made it as comfortable as possible so that you feel it is your home away from home. We could not have asked for a better vacation or a better place to spend it and we would definitely return to 1804 if we come back to the big Island. Highly recommend! Mahalo for a wonderful vacation!!!

Best condo in Kona

Literally the definition of ocean front. The condo is mere feet from the ocean. We stay here every year and we are never disappointed. The condo has every amenity you could ask for, spices. Beach chairs, beach mats, beach towels, fans both overhead and plug in for every room, excellent cable, the list goes on and on. The air conditioning is beyond powerful. The pools and jacuzzi’s on property are perfect. The owners are helpful and are always immediately reachable. My wife and I travel the world and stay regularly in VRBO properties and this is by far the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. The owners even provide a welcome basket with 100% Kona coffee and toffee macadamia nuts; what else can I say.

Privacy with great amenities

My wife and I book VRBO properties for about 90% of our vacations and this property was one of the most well-appointed properties we have stayed at yet. The condo was very comfortable with comfy furniture, amazing views, and professional kitchen utensils. My wife and I enjoy cooking our meals and often find that kitchen tools are where corners are cut with nice properties, but not here. The deck puts you on top of the crashing waves and its position gives a feeling of isolation, which we seek in properties when our plan is to relax and reconnect. The view from the deck also gives us front row to amazing sunsets and the flurry of activity from the nearby night-manta event although you cannot catch any details (so close, but yet so far). The grounds overall were very well-kept and had numerous pools. Because it was just my wife and I, we had a bonus of having the adults only pool to ourselves almost the entire duration of each visit. That added to our unwinding. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a high-quality unit for their stay. It's the little things that make a stay more enjoyable and nothing was overlooked by the owners.

Great Property!

This place was phenomenal! Great location just south of the super touristy areas and walking distance to restaurants, a golf course, and grocery store. The condo itself was upscale, clean, and had the perfect views of the sunsets and waves. Sitting on the balcony is the best part of this place as you feel like you’re on a ship.
