"I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Kaikoura. The hotel is close to the bars/restaurants (around a 5 minute walk). We were upgraded to the Spa bathroom and were impressed with the size of our room and the views that accompanied it. It had all of the amenities we required and we had a comfortable nights sleep. Each room has a designated car parking space, and we were directed to our space by a friendly member of staff. "

"In The Bay (great name!) is in a very good location clear of the hubbub of Kaikoura town center and yet on the sea front with fabulous views. It was just as advertised with good, well maintained facilities and spacious rooms with well appointed bathrooms. Breakfast was fresh and very convenient."

"Stayed with family in a 1-bedroom unit. Configuration is two single beds in a separate bedroom, and a double and a single in the main room. This room was in the rear of the property so away from the main road and so we weren't bothered by any noise from the road. The room was tidy, clean, and with lots of space. Good TV options.
