"The place is very quaint but a bit tight for our group. For example, you could not open the basement door and the back door at the same time. This made unpacking and reloading a challenge. The downstairs "lounge" was somewhat finished with painted walls floor and overhead. Very low ceilings down there as well. My 6'4" husband banged his head more than a few times. Not sure the basement bath and bedroom addition would considered code as there was no egress from the basement. But our stay was...

"The hosts were fantastic—very friendly and accommodating. The property itself was excellent, tucked away from the main road yet within walking distance of several restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to the Chicagoland area!"

"Great house for two families (one kid each). The host was very attentive. The dishwasher was broken and she had a technician out the night we arrived to fix it. We thought the pack n play was broken and she immediately ordered a new one that was delivered in 30 minutes. The set up is great with a good-sized living room, eat-in kitchen, and outdoor deck and large yard. Convenient location for our visits around the suburbs. "

"The host responsiveness was unbelievable. The refrigerator stopped working in the middle of our first night there -- a Saturday. He had a replacement solution before noon on Sunday. Everything was clean and in order. Very good Wi-Fi. A local host who really wants to get things right."

"The home is beautiful, with expert attention to detail. The bed linens seemed chosen specifically for each room. The views were especially delightful, day and night. We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. Spacious, comfortable, and near fun things to do, such as kayaking on the Fox River."

"We stayed for two weeks to see various family members who came and went as schedules allowed. Overall, the house is great on many levels, if lacking in a few specific areas. First, the great, the hosts are incredibly receptive, friendly, helpful and gave the distinct impressions that they want to make your stay as good as possible.
