"The Rock House is just beautiful, but its location makes it even more charming. Is super close to downtown and at reasonable distance from all the trending wineries on 290. Communication with host/owners was great. The check in/check out process was very easy and the house have enough accommodations to spend a wonderful weekend, any time of the year. Also warn about ( place eye-catching warning tape? ) the raised thresholds at room doorways. Surprised by a trip! Uneven floors. Oops! A wonderful location convenient to walk to “downtown” Blanco restaurants and businesses. Highly recommended! Yet quiet location. Gracious hosts always responsive to questions."

"1st time Fredericksburg travelers, heavenly host did a great job with the property we rented “enchanted hideaway” however if we come back we may look into the property next door as it seemed to have more amenities. The location was great and has several eateries/bars/grills within walking distance which was nice. Our only major concern or takeaway was about 5am the trash truck that comes and does the dumpster next door is pretty loud!! But, overall it was a fun experience and a nice getaway!"

"The lodge itself might be in the perfect location - steps away from Main Street but far enough removed for peace and quiet! The pool and hot tub is incredible with an amazing patio and cabana for fun in the sun. A few notes - there is no clothing storage, no place to hang shirts or store clothes. The wifi signal was very weak up in the house itself. We couldn’t watch anything as the TV continuously lost connection. The place is rather tight, with no living area but if you’re planning to be out...

"This cottage provided a peaceful and relaxing retreat. It was clean and had amenities as listed. It was too cool for us to use the pool, but we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the beautiful wildflowers and basking in the quiet. We drove around many counties in the area visiting Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs, Kerrville, and Marble Falls. Enjoyed shopping, visiting wineries and distillery. One suggestion that my husband had was to move the bathroom mirror up 3 inches for taller folks....

"We booked 2 years ago in anticipation of the solar eclipse happening on our 35th anniversary. We looked for a place large enough that we could include our family for these significant events. The house worked perfectly for us and our 3 kids/families. Ages ranged from 16 months to almost 70. Plenty of room for comfort. Kitchen was very well equipped my only suggestion would be to add a basic Mr. Coffee pot (we brought our own) in addition to the Kureig—2 pots a day for 8 adults equates to a lot...
