"Very hospitable property and staff. The property was gorgeous. Be prepared to be offered all kinds of help. It does come with a heftier price. Almost anything you are offered by the Riad manager will cost you two to three times more than if you use Viator or any online booking service for the exact same experience. A few miles drive by them getting you transportation will be 15 euro. Go and get a petit cab it's 4-5 euro. Upon my departure they requested i cancel my 30 euro first class train...

"We had a really nice stay at Riad Taryana. The location was very convenient and close to most of our meeting points, which made getting around the Medina much easier.
The owners were very kind and welcoming. They would often come and chat with us while we were having breakfast, which made the stay feel very personal and friendly. Breakfast was also great — if we let them know what time we planned to come down, they would usually have it ready for us before we even arrived.
The owner was also...

"La llegada al lugar es un poco complicada por el diseño de la Medina, pero el personal siempre estuvo atento para cualquier cosa que se nos ofreciera desde la recogida a la estación de tren, hasta la llegada al riad. Para llegar pagamos 50 MAD a la persona que nos guió al riad y cargó nuestras maletas y 150 MAD al conductor que nos dejo ahí desde la estación de tren.
El camino al riad es la mejor experiencia durante la llegada, no te dejes engañar por los callejones estrechos y la basura, que...

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
Staff were so helpful and kind
Beautiful room
Breakfast was YUMMY.
But:
Four stars because at no point in our correspondence did they inform me they are CASH ONLY. This policy exceptionally rare for lodging. As a visitor and solo woman traveller, I was uncomfortable maxing out ATM withdrawals on busy, narrow streets and spending extra on transaction fees, so they can save on fees and taxes. THEN having to walk around with wads of cash. All during my limited...

"We traveled from the USA and stayed here for two nights with our other. couple friends. We loved the historic charm of this guest house, it truly gave us the feeling of stepping back in time in the old Medina.
The rooms were clean and peaceful, the Moroccan breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind, humble, and always helpful. The entrance felt a little uncomfortable at first, but once inside, the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming.
A unique and memorable Moroccan experience....

"Location was good, right in the middle of the medina, but can be tricky to navigate too with people trying to “help” but always asking for money. Room was decent but had a lingering smell of urine and although door secured, a very large crack between the doors that anyone can see right into your room. Staff offered help & recommendations but seemed all they wanted was tips as well."
