The house was amazing. We used it for a whole family holiday, kids and their partners as well as two dogs. The house was well set up with everything we could have needed. Our dogs had a fantastic time learning to swim in the ocean.

Great location and beautiful views. House was very clean, and great layout. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would love to return again. It would be good to have small bins in each bathroom for dirty tissues etc BUT certainly not a negative just a suggestion and a dust broom and tray for sweeping up sand.

We keep going back

This is the third time we have stayed in this great house. We love the location across from the beach and enjoyed the new stove and the new mattress in the main bedroom!There were problems opening the front door on arrival - fortunately a neighbour used brute force to get the key to work on the fly-wire door at the entrance.So all good after that delay to beginning our lovely two weeks there.

Always great

We love the location - just across the road from the beach where dogs can go off-leash for certain hours. Very pleased with the pet friendly nature of it. Also the new stove was a great improvement from last year. All good.

Most amazing location

We had a lovely long weekend away at the Crescent @ Currarong. We were a large group of 11 including kids ranging from 3 to 15, an elderly couple and 5 adults. We all fit very comfortably in the house and never felt over crowded. The house is situated directly across the street from the stunning Currarong beach which was super convenient as we could come and go from the beach as needed. The property has been kept neat and tidy and the furnishings were comfortable. The view from the balcony was sublime with direct views to the water. On our last morning we were even lucky enough to be treated to an amazing display by a local pod of dolphins on the hunt. Our mini poodle thoroughly enjoyed himself too both at the house and at the dog friendly beach across the road. My only criticism is the back screen door did not close properly and we discovered a few creepy crawlies had snuck in and made themselves at home while we were asleep. Overall we absolutely loved our getaway and will definitely consider returning in the future!

Fabulous short stay

Had a fabulous short stay meeting up with family. It was in a perfect location, and the property was well looked after. Fenced yard was great for the dogs. Would definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay at this house. There were a couple of maintenance issues but Professional Holiday Homes were so quick to sort them out and made sure we were happy with the results. Thanks for another lovely set of memories made at this place.

Overall fabulous place to stay

Feedback re The Crescent, Currarong: *** Important - there was a nest of wasps right near the key security box - Michael was stung when we arrived when he went to get the key - we squirted them and the nest away but by the time we went to leave they were back and had rebuilt the nest, so I guess they need an eradication. there is a mouse living under the couch in the living room we saw it! when we arrived at 4:30pm all of the floors on the lower level were very wet from cleaning and of course we did not notice this until we were well into the house and turned the lights on. we really enjoy the house but were disappointed to find that only a very small right hand front burner and the right hand back burner work on the stove also the light over the stove does not work - I raised both of these problems after our stay last year. So was disappointed to see thay had not been fixed - as a chef in a past life the beach holiday is a time I love to cook - then not fully functioning stove is very limiting - especially having the largest burner out of action. It the bedroom with the bay windows - the hanging rail in the wardrobe collapsed because 2 supports were not screwed in - a similar problem last year. Regardless of these issues we still really enjoyed our holiday - the beach was superb.

A great place to share with friends or family. We were able to spread out comfortably. The house was well furnished and equipped plus a generous pantry. Fantastic being just a few steps from the beach.

Great location but badly needs maintenance

The Crescent is excellently located opposite a dog friendly beach and has a good size yard for a dog. The house has lots of rooms to relax in and functional equipment. But it is badly in need of maintenance- toilet, stove burners not working, back sliding door hard to slide ,noisy garage doorsin the wind, broken flyscreen,mould in the bathroom, and outside gates with rusty handles hard to use. We let the property managers know about these things hoping they can soon be rectified so The Crescent can be enjoyed to it’s fullest.

Wonder weekend

We had a great time in the house. The living areas were generous enough that we could all eat and hang out together. All nine of us, 6 adults and 2 teens. It was terrific fun. We had been to Currarong many times but this was the first time on the other side of the river. We’ll visit again.

Big family house near the beach

We enjoyed our long weekend stay with our whole family including the dogs. This is a great big house with loads of room and a big backyard right across from the beach. The house is fairly old so a few things not working or needing to be fixed. The beach is off leash only for set times of the day not 24/7 as outlined. Would stay here again!

We had a lovely stay, the house was spacious enough for our group (4 adults 6 young kids), it was easy to communicate with the hosts when we had questions and location was excellent (currarong beach is right across the road!).

Great location

Location was fantastic and the house was definetly big enough for my family. A few things were a little disappointing.. just little things.. there was mould and dust on all the skirting.. house needs a big clean and only one burner worked on the stove top, also needs new fry pan as the handle was broken and pan was no longer non-stick and bigger pots to cook with. Apart from that we had a nice stay.

Perfect Break

Being right over the road from the only leash-free beach for dogs was the best part for us - and the ability to pop over for a quick swim - the house was well-equipped and comfortable. (although the main bedroom bed is very soft and not great for the back!)

Home away from home.

This property is an ideal getaway so close to the beach you can hear the waves crashing as you go to sleep at night or during that all important afternoon siesta. There is plenty of room and it is well appointed with many unexpected extras in the pantry and laundry. The old garage doors need replacing or strengthening as the wind causes them to move during strong winds that does interrupt sleep ( noise canceling headphones helped). Avoid the local Bowlo for any food except the dessert but Zac’s still serves up a decent feed but a little expensive.

Great house great spot

House was great , location is perfect , would stay again 100% . Did aak for a late checkout the day prior to our checkout date as the weather had been terrible all weekend and we’d have loved an extra few hours to enjoy the beach since we’d been inside all weekend however managers didn’t respond . Obviously they can’t control the weather and we understand cleaning schedules may have made this not possible , however as the house wasn’t booked for today it just would’ve made the weekend that little bit special . Again , great house great location wouldn’t hesitate to book again . Thanks

Walk down memory lane Summer Hols 70’s

The properties location was superb. The layout, function and household items available, made our stay a very home away from home feel,....unfortunately everything on the surface looked great & for the most part it was!. Disappointing when you spend a good chunk of change on a holiday & I’m cleaning inside microwaves, animal hair from vacuum, before I can use..... to vacuum lounge room, as you do with all the sand bought in, didn’t expect to find unwrapped Xmas paper, among other stuff.....”O” whoever got the hoop earrings for Xmas, I have your lost earring. The clothesline Broken a juggle to use, the portable wardrobe in the master bedroom!...useless, collapsed, better not to be there, or replace Once we were able to move past & forward with the cleaning issues, our holiday was wonderful & a little more. But Upon reflecting for this review, it does leave a bad taste, unfortunately

Great location, comfy, a little run down

There were a few minor issues: The blinds: the kitchen blind fell down as soon as we touched it. The blind in one of the bunk bed rooms was wedged so tight that it is unmovable. The bbq was very dirty, we cleaned it, used it and cleaned it again. It is much cleaner now than before. We fixed the pet flap: we found the little door in the shelf under the microwave. The clothesline is broken and we temporarily fixed it with our jockey strap. My sister-in-law cleaned the kitchen draws. However! We had a really nice time, great location, very comfortable bed. Everything was well equipped.
