This cabin is located in the gated Bent Tree community, which also features pickleball courts and nature trails that are perfect for family entertainment. Play a round at the Bent Tree Golf Course before sitting down for dinner at The Tavern at the 19th Hole. You'll be 10 miles from Lake Tamarac and its aquatic activities, and just seven miles from the charming town of Jasper with its antique shops, wineries, and great Southern cuisine. Come autumn, you can even attend the renowned Georgia Apple Festival in Ellijay 25 miles north.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The heat did not work at the property and the temperature inside the property got down to 46 degree’s overnight- additionally the glass coffee pot was cracked and when we tried to make coffee in the morning, the coffee from the brewing pot leaked out all over the counter

Baseball/leisure trip

Breathtakingly beautiful once you got up the hills. You may need to specify your vehicle needs to be able to make it, had I brought my older car instead of my newer one we may have had an issue because it was not listed. Also, should mention the trash needing to go in the vehicles for about a 10 minute drive to the front gates upon checkout and anytime they are full. The wifi is nonexistent not just little it does not pull up on a search with the name given and has not for a couple months as per the guest several months ago left at the house in the book they asked it be checked then. Other than that everything was absolutely wonderful we loved our stay. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The home was cozy and had everything you could ask for minus internet. We got to see bears, deer, chipmunk. Very peaceful and we want to come back with the whole family not just a couple of the kids. Maybe by then the internet will be fixed, not always a bad thing though, but some still have to tend to work on and off. We appreciate the beauty and comfort your home afforded us during our stay, we hope to be back. Thank-you!

The property has great views. It's an adventure driving up from the gatehouse. The house had everything we needed for our weekend get away. We especially enjoyed the sun room!!!!

Beautiful but misleading

The listing stated that the property had Internet a pool and a lake view. Upon reaching the cabin, there was no lake close to where I was staying and the Internet did not work. Therefore, I could not do my work from home for the month that I stayed there and access to the pool was difficult. The lights outside on the driveway did not work as well. I rented a cabin for a month, expecting to be able to do some work from the cabin and unfortunately I was not able to accomplish that. However the cabin and the surroundings was very beautiful, relaxing and enjoyable. I just wish it had been more accurate with the Internet because I would probably not have rented the cabin because as I stated I needed to do work, and I was unable to do so.

There were some difficulties, but I made phone calls and there were quick responses. I loved the privacy and the sleeping situation. My room was always quiet. We especially liked having pets. The house was clean, parking was easy, and it was cool there.

Short get away

It was only 45 min away from our home, but felt like we escaped out of state. The area was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of wild life and picturesque. Our cabin was surprisingly larger than we had expected. It was quiet, clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the no contact easy arrival process. Our dogs were happy and comfortable during our stay too which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Lovely views

Our stay was nice, we didn’t find the pool and beach til the last day there, directions weren’t included to that, lots of bugs outside and in, dirty dishes in the cabinets, hot water runs out in about ten minutes, don’t recommend driving a standard because you are at the top of a mountain, no Wi-Fi even though once you get there there is a password to it on the fridge, pretty sure there was rodents somewhere in the house you could hear them chewing at night. Conveniently located if visiting Atlanta at all, beautiful scenery, very quiet, steep driveway would t recommend a low sitting car, lots of wildlife. Nice pool and beach area be prepared for your calves to get a work out!

Good place to enjoy some peace and quiet in the mountains.

This cabin is great for our family of four, due to the loft having a third bed. There are two proper bedrooms downstairs, where each of our children slept, and my wife and I took the upstairs bed, which also has its own bathroom. The deck is nice and big, though it does not have the patio swing that is pictured in two of the property photos. They should update those shots or state as such, as that was a disappointment. There is a little covered area with two swings, but it’s not on the deck, so it’s not as natural to hang out there while grilling food and eating in the evening. There is no wifi as of now, but that was clearly stated in the description, so I can’t fault them for the honesty. The service isn’t great, at least for T-Mobile. It worked for messages and YouTube, but many websites struggled to load. The drive can be a bit challenging if you aren’t accustomed to mountain driving. There are some sharp turns and steep slopes to traverse. It wasn’t an issue for me, but I can see it being difficult for someone not used to it. I also avoided going home after dark to not have to deal with the roads when they’re harder to see. The drive is worth it though, as it is very quiet and beautiful at the cabin. We saw tons of dear walk right on by, and supposedly there are bears too! The community is great, and the added comfort of a security check-in makes the whole area feel that much safer.

The Bent Tree Community Ozzes Charm

The House resides in a fairy tale environment filled with adventure, bears, deer, turkeys, and so much beauty that your head can't grasp what your actually seeing. Its breathtakingly beautiful and we fell in love with charming people and Community.

Perfectly Peaceful Place

We had a lovely retreat that was truly relaxing, refreshing and restoring. It’s a real home away from home with charming decor, high on a mountain top with incredible views! The kitchen is fully stocked (except for a pair of scissors, lol!). The beds were very comfortable and it was clean, clean, clean! We highly recommend this for any Georgia getaway.

Family vacation

Everything went smoothly with checking in at the property. The emails was very informative and all the details was given to make our rental go smoothly. The home was just like it was listed. When we arrived everything was nice and cleaned. Checking out was easy. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
