Beach & pier can be had from the 3 sundecks complete with deck furniture & benches. Transportation is not needed as Surf City Heart is centrally located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, groceries, parks/playground boat tours, and more

Pet hair is difficult to remove from linens and upholstery, and we want everyone to be able to enjoy their stay

We had a wonderful few days here! The location is fantastic - park your car once and walk everywhere- grocery, donuts and ice cream! Beautiful beach, right next to the Surf City Pier! Hot tub was so nice with ocean views. Outdoor shower was perfect. Lots of chairs and sand toys available. Comfortable beds and pillows! All linens included. Nice drink fridge too!

This house was exactly what we needed for a relaxing week at the beach! It's designed and decorated kid friendly. It's located directly on the beach with easy beach access and perfect for people watching. It's also close to many restaurants, icecream, and shopping. Topsail has always been great for finding sharks teeth but this trip aligned with Hurricane Erin which improved our treasure hunt. We will definitely be visiting again.

We had a fantastic stay at John's vacation house in Surf City. The house was perfect for our needs, with plenty of bedrooms, large public spaces, and a great oceanfront deck with hot tub. The house came well stocked - kitchen supplies, many beach towels, beach chairs & toys, boogie boards all included. It made for a really easy trip with friends. The location is right next to the pier and two dessert places, and walkable to more. A great find for our group! John was friendly and provided a timely response to any question.

Excellent!

The property was amazing and convenient to everything in Surf City. We loved the layout and the property had everything we needed (and wanted!). We had a minor air conditioner issue on Sunday but the property manager and owner had someone out within a few hours, they were great!!! We will definitely book this property again!

This is a great property located right next to the pier in Surf City. Plenty of room for my entire group! The property does need a tiny bit of TLC but nothing that would make us not want to stay here in the future.

Well let's see, your beds was super super comfy!! Love the quilt from the kids room. I took that from the kids, I was called meaning. You had everything imaginable in the kitchen, nice frig. I totally loved being in the hot tub and seeing and hearing the ocean, so relaxing. No sand on the floors. The decking around your property was excellent as well, such easy access to the beach. Now lets talk about location location location… I looked out the kitchen window toward the mainland and saw a Christmas Tree and when I looked out toward the ocean I saw another Christmas Tree on the pier. It took me all of seven seconds to get to either ice cream shop!!!!! Now does it get any better than that??? People you will totally enjoy this property. I would love to come back in the summer!!

Great house, great location, great setting

The house was very clean, comfortable and located within easy walking distance of a supermarket and restaurants. The views of the beach from the bedrooms, living room, dining room and spacious back patio were spectacular. The downstairs shower head had very little pressure (probably needs descaling) and the upstairs guest bathroom sink drained very slowly. Easy fixes and other than that, a perfect stay. Will definitely book again!

Love this house

Everyone absolutely loved their stay at this house! The location could not have been more convenient and the deck was absolutely fabulous. The owners have thought of every detail and have equipped the house with everything you need to make your stay 10/10. Would absolutely book this home again for an incredible beach vacay!

Perfect location!

Treated Us Like Family

John, Kaley, and Christine went the extra mile to ensure we were taken care of every bit of the way. It really felt like we were staying at our close friends’/family’s place rather than a vacation rental. They were so hospitable and checked to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Even the owners at the ice cream shop by the house said how great of a property it was. We were so thankful we got the opportunity to stay here (and you can’t beat the rate!) Kids are already asking to make this an annual thing. We hope to be back!

Wonderful Spring Break Trip

This house had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun spring break trip. The house location couldn't be better, and having the ice cream shop and shaved ice stores on the property were heaven to my kids (store hours were restricted due to off-season dates, but during prime time, we would've been there daily). Being able to lookout at the ocean from the deck hot tub was amazing, and we loved the easy access to the beach. The house has everything you could need - towels, linens, kitchen necessities, beach chairs, newer appliances, etc. The basement bunk bed and sofa bed are dated and a bit wobbly, but our kids didn't mind. The temperature differences between the basement and the upstairs were a bit off but having 2 thermostats remedied that problem. The owners and manager were great communicators, and we truly loved our stay!

Best birthday trip

I ended up having my original plans be messed up and tried to find a last minute booking and spoke with the owner on another plat form and he spent hours trying to help till eventually I booked it here and then helped walk me through the entire check in process and made the transaction from arriving to leaving one of the easiest ever. And now I am planning on going back for my friends next bday.

My favorite Topsail rental

Don’t hesitate to rent this house. This house is more like a home than a rental—beautifully decorated, within walking distance of everything, and a very large deck that feels like you’re almost sitting on the beach. The host goes out of his way to provide everything needed for a beach vacation and best part is the sheets are already on the bed. We hope to return many times.

Everlasting Memories

I cannot say how much my family loved this place. Waking up and drinking coffee as I watched my kids on the beach searching for shells is priceless. We came in November and the weather was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy to make family meals. I plan on coming back for sure to make more memories.

Amazing

We spent 6 days here and just really loved the location and house. Actually, hired a photographer to take some pics at the house and pier. John and Christine were amazing and every question I had was answered within 10 min. Those questions were all do to user error. LOL Honestly, the best location I've every stayed at. 12 steps to the beach. We had so much fun together, we never even left the deck, house or beach until the last day. Can't go wrong with this place. PS. There is an coffee shop / Ice-cream and flavor ice store at the end of the drive way. . Make sure you bring a few bucks as my 8 year old made me go each day. LOL. Sometimes twice a day . I wish I could attach some of the pics we took. 5 stars

Beautiful home in a great location. Close to everything.

Property owners were extremely nice housekeeper was helpful. Home was absolutely beautiful and had everything you needed there which was nice. Complimentary bottle of wine. Lots of pots and pans to choose from if you are cooking.
