This newly renovated and stylishly decorated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury Forest Ridge townhome is the perfect setting to kick back and enjoy a relaxing vacation in the comfort of a place that feels like home! Historic Fernandina is known for its beautiful oak tree canopies, pristine sandy beaches, and an array of coastal culture that can all be experienced during a stay in this wonderful seaside retreat!

The first floor boasts a spacious open floor plan, laid out as one large great room consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living area. This great room is tiled in beautiful grey-washed wood like tile and is accented perfectly with an array of coastal décor. The newly renovated kitchen has brand new appliances, elegant white quartz counter tops, white shaker style cabinets and barstool seating for two. Centered in the dining area is a lovely high top wood table that seats 4-6. Two additional barstools are located at the island just next to the dining area for ample dining space.

The living area is decorated with a comfy dark gray L-shaped couch, gorgeous wood coffee table, two chairs, and a large flat screen TV. Just off of the spacious living area, through the sliding door you will find a shady and secluded private porch ideal for taking a minute to relax and enjoy the cool afternoon sea breeze. Grab a good read and a glass of wine and enjoy this shady space to the fullest.

Adjacent to the great room is the downstairs full bathroom and laundry area. Accented with a charming quartz topped vanity and a beautifully tiled walk in shower, this bathroom has recently been fully renovated. The brand new stackable washer and dryer make keeping up with the laundry a breeze!

Journeying up stairs, you will find a master bedroom with spacious closets, a queen bed, and a flat screen TV. Underneath the queen bed is a twin mattress that can be pulled out for additional sleeping capacity. Across the hall is the second bedroom consisting of two queen beds with lovely coastal décor and a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The new renovated upstairs bathroom conveniently located in the hall between the two bedrooms has a gorgeous subway tiled shower/tub combo seated next to a white vanity with dazzling white quartz.

This elegant townhome is only a 5-7 minute walk from the pristine Amelia Island beach. Only a short walk from the villa is a community pool, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, a picnic and grilling area, and a playground. The scenic paved walk around the Forest Ridge community provides a safe recreational venue and a great place for a stroll around the complex on your way to the beach!

Place was very clean and organized! Kitchen had everything that we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Communication was easy and very responsive. Good location to the beach, just short walk. Wash station/hose for the dog on property was convenient also.

Great vacay!

We love Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island and this was the absolute best location.10 minute walk to sunrise breakfast. 10 minute drive to downtown. 15 minute walk to Denucci's ice cream. Clean and spacious. Loved it!

Forest Ridge - AIG

The property was as described. Updated finishes throughout the condo were nice. It was in a quiet neighborhood fairly close to public beach access. I must say, there's an unusually large crop of lizards and even saw a snake right outside our condo door. I could stay there again.

Very nice condo

We found the condo to be very clean and we liked that the bedrooms are upstairs from the kitchen. The common area was definitely large enough for us and the other couple, which was great. Nice short walk to beautiful beach. Pool was freezing but nice to lay next to. Only downside is I had intentionally chosen a complex that had a tennis court, and there is a court but it is in awful condition and scary to play on - lots of cracks, big hole on the side. We also had asked if there is pickleball in the area and were told there is a court in the park on the island. In fact the condo complex has drawn lines for pickleball on one of the courts next to the pool, but you need a net. We could have brought one if we had known.

Adorable Beach Townhome

The beach was just a quick walk across the street and the townhome was perfect for our family of 4. It is nicely updated and spacious and cozy at the same time. The pool and tennis courts were right out our front door. We had everything we needed for a perfect beach getaway. The Amelia Island Getaway team members are so friendly and helpful! Highly recommended !!

PCB it ain't and we were thankful

We desire a coastal beach experience. The moss on the trees, the slower pace, the beauty, and the history. Amelia fit our request. The walk to the beach was a little difficult for bad feet and hips and or folks with small children. The pool was clean and in the center for easy access. Wish there was more than one pool key allowed. Our rental was clean and had everything we needed.

Quiet Community

The community is very quiet and serene. The condo was exactly as advertised. A quick walk to the beach as it is only one block over. Close to dining and shopping. The kitchen was well equipped, and the “start-up” cleaning supplies were helpful. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The only negative (which wasn’t really a negative) is the Amazon TV in the living room is signed into the the owners Amazon account and does not allow you to change this. So we had to stick to cable, but again, not really a negative, just a little inconvenient. We would definitely stay here again!

Great premise, some issues

Going from great to not so great after staying a week: 1. Location, distance to the beach, setup - perfect 2. Devices, appliances, utensils, silverware, pots and pans, TVs, outlets - perfect 3. Had to sign a separate rental agreement after paying VRBO - annoying 4. Outdoor furniture with leaves and dirt was left in the living room after we were assured all is checked and cleaned prior to our visit. It also did not have blankets for November stay after storm, had to ask and wait till next day. 5. Main sofa for sitting in the living room - really dirty and worn, had to cover to sit on it and very sunk in, causing back pain. 6. Carpet on the stairs is old with spots and needs replacing. 7. Net door to the balcony falls off, cannot use it. 8. The windows and seals are as old as the condo, cannot open without a risk of breaking something. 9. I needed to be able to work while being there. The internet was dropping off 10-15 times a day during video calls, including client ones. Not a great situation. All in all this condo has great bones, 90% of it is updated, well thought through and convenient. The remaining 10% need to be upgraded to get the perfect grade. Next time we will look elsewhere. Right now we are in another place where everything is perfect.

Great time

Beautiful property. Nice to have a few not normally provided items Kitchen well equipped. Neighborhood was quiet and very well maintained. Nice pool and playground. Community fire pit and grill. Fabulous area to explore. We loved old town Amelia Island. Check in and check out very easy with clear instructions. Questions were answered by return text. Thank you. We will be back.

Awesome location!

The townhouse is beautifully decorated and has everything what you need. The location is awesome, you can walk to the beach. Sadly the house is not very clean. The oven is really dirty, we found empty water bottle and used toothpicks behind the curtains in the bedroom.

Amelia Island

Avery quaint little town with some great beaches (altho was too cold for that ) and plenty of eating options. The condo was very nice and in a quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly was a big plus! We enjoyed our stay very much!
