Come and stay with us at the Turtle Hut! Enjoy sun-soaked days and relaxing nights, visiting our great local places to dine and shop.



Visit us in Jacksonville Beach and stay in this cozy home 8 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean! Such a light & airy place - great backyard for relaxing after a day at the beach or maybe you want to hang out in our garage cave with a variety of games and mini-fridge. We have two Bluetooth Speaker/Lights that are available for use in the garage or if you wish to bring them to the backyard. There is a magnetic screen on the garage door to help minimize bugs when you are enjoying that outdoor space - as well as 2 box fans to help keep the air flow going in our warmer months.



The three bedrooms are very comfortable and we have different cozy living areas so you can spread out! Beach Lovers will enjoy being a 15 minute stroll to the beach (get those steps in!) - and we provide the gear so you don't have to figure out how to bring it with you! Pulling the beach wagon we provide, loaded up with some beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels and your toes are in the sand. Don't forget your sun block!



After your day at the beach - come back home and get ready for your fun evening! We have three bikes and keep exploring the great restaurants, shops and breweries that we have around Jax Beach. Bike along 1st Street and find more great places to dine! A few minutes away is the South Beach Park & Sunshine Playground that has everything from basketball & pickle ball courts to a seasonal splash pad Skate Park and Playground.



The street in front of our home is a busy one during certain times of day. We are also just up the street from Beaches Baptist Hospital. We do provide sound machines in the bedrooms so you can select from a variety of sounds to help minimize the traffic. Jacksonville Beach is a busy little bustling beach town - especially during our spring & summer seasons!

A short drive to Downtown Jacksonville lets you take in sporting events & concerts. OR visit The Seawalk Pavillion for events there too! And the Jax Beach Pier is a lot of fun too! This is a great location to take in the The Players Championships at Sawgrass. You can also take advantage of a Tuc-Tuc and tour the craft breweries around downtown Jacksonville. Grocery Store Options - Whole Foods, Publix and Trader Joe's are all a short distance away!



Dog Friendly - dogs less than 30 lbs - additional cleaning/pet hair removal fee required. Pets must be disclosed in advance. Fee is per pet. (Max 2 pets) All dogs are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the dog owner. Failure to disclose the pet in advance will result in a $500 fee.

**Parties are strictly prohibited - as noted in the rental agreement. Penalties will be enforced. The property is monitored by Minut / Noise Aware as noted in the booking agreement. The inside fireplace is not available for use.



It is unlawful for a sexual offender or sexual predator to occupy this residence in violation of section 775.215, Florida Statues precluding such residency within 1,000 feet of any school, child care facility, park, or playground.



ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Guest Arrival is anytime 4pm EST or after. If the property is approved for early arrival, you will receive a message letting you know you can arrive early and we will activate the door code. If you do not receive a message, then the arrival will remain at 4pm EST.



Guest Departure is anytime 10am EST or before. If you have not departed by this time and do not have written prior approval for a late departure, you will be assessed a $50 late departure fee for every 30 minute delay. The Cleaning Services we use schedule their teams for multiple cleans in advance and any unplanned delays create issues. With unscheduled/unapproved late departures, they are required to bring in additional team members to assist, which incurs a higher cost that must be charged. Any requests made for a late departure must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance of departure time and are subject to approval/availability.
