I would highly recommend it for anyone that is taking a trip with another family. There is plenty of space and things to do. Beach is only a 2-3 minute walk through the beautiful courtyard. Pool is on the beach as well.

We loved the chiefs kitchen and it was very well stocked. The property was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend adding more hair dryers and would have been more convenient with a garage code. Parking was difficult because only 4 cars allowed. Visitors had to find other parking across main rd. Only provided1 thin towel, hand towel, wash cloth per person:(. Had to keep washing. Weddings were occurring twice a day Fri & Sat & on Sun am behind the house so u had to walk a good bit out of way to get to beach.

The house is well appointed and spacious enough for 4 families. It is steps away from the beach and 2 pools. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen had everything you need. The house was clean and all appliances worked. When a lightbulb went out, maintenance was there within the hour to fix it! Island realty was fantastic to work with - very responsive and ensured we were able to get checked in after hours. We already rebooked for next year.

Beautiful Centrally Located House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this house, the proximity to the beach and the Grand Pavilion access. The two downstairs seating areas was perfect for our group of adults AND kids... and you could see the ocean from the side window in the kitchen nook. The massive fridge and freezer, huge stove, double dishwashers... all amazing. Perfect for big family. The only negatives - there is NO access to pantry and no locks on bathrooms or bedrooms (or there’s some special way to use it we couldn’t figure out). Our groups dry good groceries sat on the counter taking up most of the space all week, which wasn’t ideal, but we made it work. Otherwise, we all thought the house was fantastic and very pretty. We all felt right at home. We would stay there again and hopefully next time we could have some designated cabinet/pantry space. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spacious home with us. side note: Island Realty is also the best rental company in the biz. We’ve rented from many and their customer service is so amazing. We keep coming back to them.

The two master bedrooms worked well for the two families with a toddler and the bunk room was great for the older kids. The kitchen is well stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The centrally located was great to walk to coffee or to play pickleball and close beach access.

Comfortable beds. 2 king bedrooms are very large. 2 queen bedrooms are a little small. Island realty was great, had an A/C issue fixed within 2 hours of check in. Only suggestion is that it is showing its age some (bedspreads, rugs, areas in kitchen). We had a great family vacation there!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have used Island Realty for 15 years in a row for summer rentals in the Grand Pavilion area. For the last 4 years they have gone up on the price from 1200.00 to 1500.00 dollars a year. The reason they gave is that since COVID people got more excited about going on vacations. This is ridiculous. Also this year I called numerous times and left messages and my calls weren't returned. Also there are things on the property that don't work properly and furniture that is worn and they still went up 1500.00 for next year. There have been very few updates for the GP 50 that I have rented for the last 6 years, to justify this price increase.

Grand Pavilion 50

We were bumped out of our normal place on IOP because the location would usually stayed on the beach was sold and the new owners did not rent. Thankfully Island rental found us this. This was our first time on Wild Dunes. Plenty of things to do at the resort. As for the house, there is plenty of space and bedrooms. Two dishwashers was great. And the gas stovetop was huge and easy to use. Just some minor issues such as; The house is blocked on each side by other houses which keeps any breeze from coming across the screened in porch, turning it into a sauna. A ceiling fan would resolve this. The microwave oven was high with a pull down door making it hard for short women to get things in or out. The ice makers could not keep up with the demand. None of the bedroom doors or bathrooms locked. The Grand Pavilion was just a short walk away and was great for eating, drinking and sitting out in a covered area with a breeze. Overall, a good experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location for this stay couldn’t be better! It’s only a short walk to the beach, pools and boardwalk. The home is beautiful with fun decorations and fully stocked with cooking supplies. The beds are comfortable and TVS are the perfect size! Which is rare in a vacation home. We really enjoyed our stay!Note the pool at both the Boardwalk and Sweetgrass are not available to use with this rental. I recommend bringing extra paper towels, garbage bags and TP if your there for a week. They only supply a limited amount.

Ocean Sounds Sand on Mounds

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in easy at the office. Arrived before other guests to check on the condition of the house. Driveway was covered with debris from the trees. All outdoor furniture and tables were dirty. Took over an hour to clean everything on the various porches before other guests arrived. Two burners on the stove were inoperable. Lights over the cooking area and sink area flickered a lot when dishwashers were running possibly indicative of poor wiring or improper dimmers on the light switches. Two dishwashers worked but neither one is anchored with the counter bottom side. When you open the door on the dishwashers they tilt forward and the trays roll out and this was annoying. Never did find the light switch for the garage so we used flashlights after dark. Not a single switch was labeled which would have helped a lot. Most of the electrical outlets were hard to use with charges since the charges slip out when plugged in. This indicates very cheap outlets. One of the bathroom sinks wouldn't drain in the upstairs bedroom with the porch. That needs attention. The bunk beds for the kids had loose railings for the upper bunks but couldn't be repaired without reassembling the entire bed according to the maintenance tech that was sent. There were no instructions on what is recycled so we guessed and did all glass, cardboard, and plastic bottles. Hope we were right. Other guests in neighboring houses filled their trash cans and ours got filled with their trash as well. That was not nice. There were two nights of events in the yard behind the house with loud music and speeches by a corporate group until 10 pm. The storage room in the garage was filled with beach chairs and toys for the kids but everything was just thrown in there and everything was dirty. Looks like no one ever took a little time to clean out that storage room for years. There was a gas grill in the garage but the cooking grates were covered in old burnt meat and so we skipped using it. We didn't pack grill cleaning

There wasn't anything there that we needed to cook, etc. We were drawn to this because it had two king beds and two queen beds. Although we didn't use it they also had a bunk bed room with 4 twins for children if needed. One queen bed was on main floor which was perfect for my sister who has trouble using stairs. You had a partial ocean view, the weather the week after Christmas ended up being perfect. We had fun playing tennis and golf and could actually walk to tennis courts and also renting bikes. A great week at a great house in a great location!
