"New property with lots of space. Very clean and secure. Views were better than expected. So close to beach and quieter part of island. Rented a golf cart for $75 a day and was so easy to get around island. Definitely get a golf cart if you stay at this property. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable. Was just me and my girlfriend but the place could fit a large family very comfortably."

"Villa Amistad took our breath away the moment we opened the front door & could see the ocean through the beautiful glass doors into the beautiful pool area. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks transforms you. You are only separated from the ocean by a lovely walkway, called the Malecon that runs a good length of the island & the Villa has direct access to it through a door next to the pool which was a plus. "I stayed in this lovely home for 3 nights with 9 dear friends for my bachelorette party just before getting married in Playa del Carmen! We are a group of women in our 30s and loved relaxing at the house and exploring the nearby beaches and restaurants! We also loved cooking together at the house and truly appreciated the amazing hospitality of the host! The large screened in porch area outside the kitchen upstairs was a wonderful spot to spend time together!"

"I was a little hesitant to book as it is under new management but I so happy we did!!! This is the place that used to have the sign "beer so cold it will make your teeth hurt" IYKYK. Excellent location and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! We had the upstairs room, ocean front with 2 balconies which was lovely. The staff is so nice and we felt like we almost had the whole place to our self. Will be back and highly recommend!"

"The views were spectacular. The dinning table was huge and had plenty of space for dinners with the family. Bedrooms were spacious. Any questions we had were answered and resolved quickly. Grocery store was close and within walking distance. There were food options near the grocery store as well. Linda was helpful with transportation options and great to work with. "
