"Absolutely loved this condo. From the swim out pool in the condo, to the the beautiful landscaping. The larger pool was rarely occupied. The property management was quick to fix the few issues that we had upon arrival. Location was great for getting to either side of the island, although a golf cart is definitely needed if you plan on going anywhere on a daily basis. There was a lovely dog who came to visit daily. "This was a delightful place to stay. The condo is very clean and lovely. The king sized bed is very comfortable. The courtyard is lovely and contains one of the two pools on the property. The condo is about 200 yards from the ferry, and is right across from the town’s plaza (we watched all of the Dia de Los Muertos activities there).The eastern shore of the ocean is right outside, off your balcony. "The photos don’t do this place justice. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing a long list of tips and recommendations, and even connected me with an amazing massage therapist whose studio is just a short walk from Villa Amistad. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the house manager responded quickly whenever I had questions. My favorite features were the gorgeous pool, the wonderful rooftop, and the super comfortable bed. I can’t wait to come back!"

"I stayed in this lovely home for 3 nights with 9 dear friends for my bachelorette party just before getting married in Playa del Carmen! We are a group of women in our 30s and loved relaxing at the house and exploring the nearby beaches and restaurants! We also loved cooking together at the house and truly appreciated the amazing hospitality of the host! The large screened in porch area outside the kitchen upstairs was a wonderful spot to spend time together!"

"Villa Amistad took our breath away the moment we opened the front door & could see the ocean through the beautiful glass doors into the beautiful pool area. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks transforms you. You are only separated from the ocean by a lovely walkway, called the Malecon that runs a good length of the island & the Villa has direct access to it through a door next to the pool which was a plus. "I was a little hesitant to book as it is under new management but I so happy we did!!! This is the place that used to have the sign "beer so cold it will make your teeth hurt" IYKYK. Excellent location and the grounds are absolutely beautiful! We had the upstairs room, ocean front with 2 balconies which was lovely. The staff is so nice and we felt like we almost had the whole place to our self. Will be back and highly recommend!"

"El hotel es increíble, nuevo, muy amplio, lleno de actividades, la comida espectacular y el servicio maravilloso! El buffet en los Corales buenísimo y Bryham y Diego te hacen sentir como en casa, Pablo en el Steak House es maravilloso, siempre dando un extra, Rubén en el Pez Dama dando las mejores recomendaciones para comer (no dejes de probar los tacos baja), Gerardo en el japonês hace que la experiencia sea inolvidable, la comida en el Blue Moon es deliciosa, especificamente el risotto. Las actividades en la alberca están super divertidas, Janet y Jimena lo hacen increíble, de verdad hacen que te animes y no quieras perderte ninguna clase y Eduardo siempre al pendiente tuyo para cualquier bebida que necesites! Definitivamente regresaremos pronto!"

"El hotel es demasiado cómodo y cuenta con muchas facilidades. Lo que no me gusto, es muy triste ver cómo algunos empleados tratan mal a sus propios paisanos, los mexicanos y les den muchísima más prioridad a los gringos solo por propinas, eso me decepciono mucho. "
