"place was clean and convenient to trails. Floors are uneven and very easy to trip on. All six of us were over 60 and could not figure out the TV, no big deal as we weren't there for that. One of the chairs at table was broke and there was only 2 sets of keys for the place. There is no hand rail on stairs to the upstairs.Deck is large and nice to sit on. Grill is large but does not get very hot for some reason"

"This house was so perfect for our family of 7 adults, an 8 year old, and 5 month old! It had everything we needed and more! We loved the “poker room” and hooked out switch up to have game night, the sauna was incredible and inspiring me to build one in my basement, the kitchen was incredible and loved they had an extra kitchen in the basement! The owner was great to work and and quick to reply! Our family absolutely loved it here! Music on the Manitou on Wednesday night was a hit! Loved every...

"Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

"This house was amazing! We got snowed in and were very comfortable with 15 of us and a dog in the space for 5 days. The hot tub was great and there was plenty of space and amenities to keep us busy. The negatives of this place come down to things we tend to expect these days with rentals like this. Very limited cooking basics (spices, oil, coffee, dish detergent, etc). Limited toilet paper in the house (3 rolls per bathroom) and almost no hand soap. Not many directions on how to use the...

"We really enjoyed this secluded area of the UP. The space itself is huge, and we were able to bring our dog, which was great. Would highly recommend for anything looking for a getaway with some outdoor activities nearby."

"We had an enjoyable time there. However, we could not get the furnace to work and the temp. had cooled off enough that we needed it to run. I do not have a phone to contact anyone. I left a note for the cleaners and told them about it. Otherwise it was a very nice place to stay."

"Excellent location— easy in and out with lots of level outdoor space in the front and backyard. Cabin was warm and cozy. Owners were extremely responsive and got back to any questions we had within minutes. We will definitely be booking again!"

"Nice quiet property on the lake. Check in process and communication with owner was smooth. Everything clean and in working order. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking but not enough drinking glasses. (They do have some plastic ones). Renter should be aware there are no basic spices not even salt and pepper. Overall a nice, quiet and relaxing place to stay."

"We had a pretty good stay. The house is a great size and has all the accommodations we needed. The weather was exceptional warm for the time of year, we were up for deer rifle season, which caused a crazy amount of flies to be around but other than that everything was good."

We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell!
