"This is an obviously well run hotel with first impressions catered for. The staff are all pleasant and welcoming and the room well laid out with plenty of room to breathe. "2nd time I've stayed here and the value for money is second to none. Whilst the rooms are basic, they still have a TV, kettle with tea and coffee and a fan heater should it get too cold. The most important aspect and what drew me back again is that everything is clean. A fresh towel and unopened soap provided, the bedding is crisp and spotless. At the end of the day it's a place to sleep, and that the owner obviously cares for cleanliness is obvious. Very friendly and helpful host. Bargain! "

Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side. Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more."
