"Room comfortable and quiet no aircon and very warm so kept window open. Reception friendly and efficient. Swimming pool area very good - cushions on loungers getting a little tired. Restaurant excellent service and food. Coping with large groups in other rooms didn't affect service. Breakfast area well stocked. Only complaint was one of the staff in the breakfast area taking fruit from the plates with his fingers - several times for his own breakfast."

"There was no bedside light (despite there being two bedside tables) and no rubbish bin in the room. The curtains did not close properly. One window had a crack in it and there is no double glazing so the road outside was noisy. It was very hot, but we kept the windows closed to try to reduce the noise (no aircon).The staff were very helpful however (having moved us from a different room as the bathroom light wasn't working in that one)."

"This hotel looks like it's undergoing renovations, but I don't think it is - I think that's just how it looks, eg there are various sections where the wallpaper is peeling in the common areas. My room had one single tea bag; no milk; no sugar. One lonely teabag. There is no power socket close to where they put the tv. When I moved it closer to one, all I got was No Signal. Why bother put a tv in a room if it doesn't work? There was a wardrobe but no coat hangers. It's in a good spot in central...

"Looks like it has recently been redecorated, simple and pleasant style. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast items available to help yourself if leaving before official breakfast time. I’ll be staying again "

"Lovely hosts and a very generous cooked breakfast with quality ingredients and big pot of tea plus lots of toast! Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side. Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more."
