"The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!"

In the middle of the night, while we were asleep, someone unlocked and attempted to open our room door. Fortunately, the security latch stopped the door from opening completely, although the force partially ripped the door trim from the wall.

"This hotel was a perfect choice for a family trip. The breakfast was delicious, and the kids especially enjoyed the tree swing and the complimentary s’mores. The pool was also very clean, allowing them to have a great time safely. The location was another big plus, as it was close to both downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, making it very convenient to get around. If I ever visit Bar Harbor again, I would definitely stay at this hotel."
