"Great stay in a great location."

"This is smallest LUXURY room I have ever stayed in Although very small it was comfortable but very impactable for 2 adults Although advertised as a dog friendly hotel I would say more dog tolerant than friendly. For breakfast we were directed to the bar area which was extremely cold and not very comfortable, those guests without a dog were able to use the dining room which was warm and welcoming. We had booked a table for 2 for dinner on the first night and when we arrived there was no...

"I had a lovely overnight stay in the wel presented Willow Lodge. The room was immaculate and had some lovely touches from the owners. The location is stunning, you will not be disappointed. Slightly disappointing for me was the price for the electric vehicle charging. But would not be put off booking again.."

"Lovely proprietor. Cooked breakfast was great, a pity that on last day we couldn't have it because of staffing problem. Attractively decorated property"

"Lovely place and rooms were great. Some of staff didn’t know how to check us in It’s a pub, and luckily we had booked for food… the pub was very food dominated and wouldn’t have felt comfortable just drinking… food was good and place lovely though"

"Rooms are fine, poor restaurant but reception staff I would say that if were nobody would be even a better experience. I won’t repeat There’s no transfer to the airport and if you need a taxi, good luck! And don’t ask at reception, no help at all"

"Good, comfortable room. Excellent freshly made breakfast Lovely, friendly and helpful staff The restaurant side of the business has closed, but there are a couple of pubs in walking distance."

"Lovely room in the detached cottage. Nice garden to sit in. Nice breakfast and helpful staff"

"The accommodation, though clean, is very tired. The leatherette headboard was worn and needed replacing. The television reception was poor with no signal at times. The bathroom suite was old with mildew around the bath. The restaurant and bar were comfortable and traditional. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was no problem changing the chicken curry brought to the table for the vegetarian one I actually ordered! The new menu is not an improvement and we wouldn't eat in again. I...
