Setting and location



Wobbegong sits in Hyams Beach, wrapped in gums and coastal bush with panoramic views across Jervis Bay towards Booderee National Park. A bush path leads to the sand in around five to ten minutes on foot, delivering you straight into that white sand, clear water world Hyams is known for.



For proposals, anniversaries, milestone birthdays, babymoons and quiet celebrations, Wobbegong offers the kind of setting that does the speaking for you.



Days can unfold between Hyams Beach Café for breakfast, Booderee National Park for walks and swims, and Huskisson for long lunches, thoughtful dinners, and a film at the heritage cinema.



Living experience through the day



Mornings start quietly on the deck with Nespresso in hand, sun catching the bay and moving through the trees. Inside, the mood is calm and grounded, with softly polished hardwood floors, curated lighting, and a restrained palette that lets the landscape take the lead.



After the beach, rinse off under the hot and cold outdoor shower, then drift into an afternoon of reading, cooking, and conversation. In cooler months, the wood burning fireplace draws everyone together, with storms and shifting skies playing out across the water beyond the windows.



If you are here for a special occasion, dusk on the deck is the moment. The bay deepens, the birds settle, and the house feels quietly cinematic

Wobbegong has two decks that shape the stay.



Main deck: outdoor lounge seating plus outdoor dining for six, with expansive bay views through the trees



Master deck: private, quiet, made for first light and late night air



After swimming, the private hot and cold outdoor shower becomes a ritual, surrounded by bush and open sky.

A note for families: the surrounding landscape and footpath include areas with high drops. Children should be actively supervised outdoors.

Guests have access to the entire home and the private bush path to the beach. Parking is available for up to 4 cars using on site parking plus additional street parking.

External security cameras are installed outside the home (no interior cameras).



The property is non smoking.



The property is not pet friendly.



No parties or events. This is a quiet setting and suits guests who value peace and privacy.



Due to the natural landscape, please supervise children outdoors and take care on the path and lower outdoor areas.
