The Space:
Woodlands by Tiny Away is located in Howard, conveniently positioned between the rural town of Childers and the coastal city of Hervey Bay—both just 22 minutes away. This tranquil farm stay, set on flat land overlooking peaceful woodlands, invites you to unwind with fishing in the nearby dam and scenic walks along nature trails.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and are free to explore the 56-acre property, except the land host’s residence and shed.

- Ongoing improvements may occasionally lead to farm-related noise (e.g., tractor activity, lawn mowing, or construction).

Woodlands by Tiny Away sits in the charming countryside of Howard, just 22 minutes from both the rural town of Childers and the coastal city of Hervey Bay, offering easy access to attractions like the secluded beaches of Burrum Heads and Toogoom (15 minutes away), Hervey Bay's whale watching tours, and K'gari, Australia's largest sand island, only 30 minutes from the property. Additionally, it’s just 5 minutes to Bamboo Land and the historic Brooklyn House.

Road Conditions:

Reachable by 2WD: Yes, all main roads in and around Howard are accessible by 2WD vehicles. A 4WD may be beneficial for exploring more remote areas or during wet weather conditions.

By public transport:

- Guests can take the tilt train from Brisbane to Howard, which takes about 4 hours and stops less than 2 km from the property.

- Wi-Fi is not available
- A gas barbecue grill is provided
- Bottled water (500ml) is $2 per bottle
- All mobile networks have good reception
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny house, except outdoors
- Firewood is available free of charge but must be self-collected
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- The property is suitable for children under 16. For safety reasons, children must be supervised at all times because of nearby dam and farm machinery.

Important note:

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as insects during your stay
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
