I had a lovely conversation with one of the staff members who was friendly, well travelled, and genuinely engaging, which added a personal touch to the stay. The shared kitchen is open and self-serve, ideal for making tea or a drink, grabbing some fruit, or sitting down to work...

Excellent dining options and bars, very good breakfast in the stunning "ekspedisjonshallen", spa options, swimming pool, spacious and well eqiupped gym. Clean and spacious rooms. "We stayed in a large studio for 3 nights on the second floor. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and accessible. Showers had good water pressure and ran hot, the bathroom was large enough to move around, had a fan, large windows, and closet space, and great L’occitaine amenities. The only minor thing would be the shower stall, it’s quite small, though common in Europe. The location is lovely, and walking around frogner is a visually stunning experience. "

"Hotel Bastin was perfectly close located to tte dock of our cruise ship. Walking to the opera house and Christmas market was all an easy walk. Tte moment we entered the hotel we felt welcomed. The breakfast has a wide variety of food, all delicious! Dinner and afternoon Fika we enjoyed very much in a home atmosphere, sitting on tables next to the fireplace was so inviting during cold winter days. Would book it again! "
