"The remodelled section is lovely. The staff honest and helpful with understanding the hours for local shops and stops. The lack of available food in the vending machines sounds silly but the entire town closes up at or before dark so plan for truckstop gas station food or grab something at a drive thru just before they close up."

"Excellent use of space in this sweet little camp. It had everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I had also specifically looked for a place with no Wifi, this is hard to come by, but it kept my kids mostly off their phones and actually reading/ spending time together. "My family of five stayed here one night before hiking Mars Hill Mountain early the next morning. We appreciated how practical this 1 bedroom/0.5 bathroom lodging was. Had everything we needed, including comfortable beds! Definitely recommended!"

"Kevin and Christina were in touch with us if needed but everything was explained very well in the messages they sent us. Everything was as expected and we were welcomed with a personal touch as well as a local sweet treat! It's a nice rustic cozy log cabin with plenty of room for the 4 of us. It had a new washer and dryer, dish washer, plenty of room in the bedrooms, and the loft area was nice. Very peaceful relaxing area not far from local stores.
