"This would have been the perfect place for my overnight stay before collecting somebody from Gatwick airport early the next morning. However, it was a cold night and the heating was not on. When I called for assistance at 21.30 I was told that somebody would check the boiler and that it was on a timer and should come on soon! "Everything was fine except that the bed was really hard. If you dislike a comfortable bed, if you enjoy sleeping on stiff, hard surfaces, then you’ll love this. "

"Had a great stay atvyhe Hurtwood. Found it by chance. Great village with plenty of walking direct in to the Surrey Hills as directed by the lovely lady who checked us in. Room very comfortable with fresh milk provided. We found the car park easy for a big car, but would not be so easy in season I think. Dinner in the bar was excellent and good portions. Breakfast cooked to order also great. Will go again. Thank you."

"There was no shuttle needed as the hotel was right across from the Airport entrance. Elevators and walkways ere easily accessible and the people around were very happy to help me lift cases when neccessary."

"Comfy easy access room with walk-in shower, very helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet given it was Eater Saturday night. EV charger parking spot was occupied for many hours by a non-electric vehicle and the adjacent spot occupied by an EV which was not on charge. Staff said they were not responsible for its use."

"The single negative Is that we ordered pizza we wanted to eat in bed but they then didn’t have any., Other than that, staff were polite and friendly, especially the ladies on reception in both the hotel and the pool on Wednesday evening. The steam room, pool and jacuzzi were all a good temperature (I hate a cold pool and jacuzzi, there’s just no point as it’s not enjoyable). "Stayed here for 1 night, didn’t know what to expect, but from walking into the hotel, the lady receptionist was lovely and really went above and beyond (thank you), and the hotel room was great—had everything me and my child needed. Would defo stay here again if I needed to. "
