From this incredible 24th floor viewpoint, you can marvel at the ocean reef and watch cruise ships pass! This clean contemporary air-conditioned one-bedroom suite is 533 sqft plus lanai with table and chairs. 4-person max.

The Waikiki Banyan is a favorite of repeat visitors with its host of amenities including a pool, hot tubs, BBQ area, and more. All this and just a short 2-block walk to beautiful Waikiki Beach, plus shops, restaurants, the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, and Kapiolani Park! Public transportation is readily available, with stops located right outside the building on Kuhio Avenue.

*BUILDING NOTE: The entire recreation deck, including pool, hot tubs, and BBQ area, will be closed for renovations from April 7, 2025–June 30, 2026. Work hours will be restricted to 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday. Noise is expected. Work dates are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologize for the inconvenience and will make every effort to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible.

No Pets, No Parties, No Smoking/Vaping (including in the condo, on the balcony/lanai, or in any of the building's public spaces). Violations are subject to a $500 fine, plus actual costs for odor removal or if anything needs replacement due to tar, ashes, or burns.

Good location, friendly building staff..

Location close to the beach. it’s very crowded but that is expected staying in Waikiki. The building staff was very friendly A on that. Building is crowded as well so you’ll be waiting for elevators for awhile. Parking is awful and very small spots. There were ants on my pillows and curtain when I arrived and a pair of used contacts on the floor from previous renters. The unit does come with kitchen necessities and the beach chairs were a plus. The host answered questions fairly quickly. Overall stay here was decent

Graduation Stay

My stay was great, property manager was quick to respond to any questions I had, location was just at the end of Waikiki and was easily accessible. Only downside but not the fault of the property management, the elevators were super slow and we spent a good amount of time waiting to go up or down. Overall amazing stay.

I will say I was a little confused on the check in process. It gave directions to call the manager once we got our bags but before we got the car. I didn’t think that was necessary. And with just getting off a 12 hour flight, that is not the first thing that you think about. So I did call and route to the condo. He never did answer. But I had an issue getting in to the condo, when I did call back, to get help with that, he answered right away and was very helpful. Very helpful with any questions we had. Great place to stay, great location. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The condo was amazing with the views and how close it was to the beach. Also the one spot parking was key and helped us explore the island without having to worry about finding a place to park. Beyon the property manager was great and so responsive.

Good value, great location

Positives: - Great location. Just three blocks from the center of Waikiki beach. - ocean view - comes with a parking space - laundry facilities three doors down from unit - very quiet - while we never used them, the complex has a pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, and bbqs (although you have to pay to use the bbq - very clean - unit was as the pictures show - beach umbrellas, and two beach chairs Minor improvements recommended: - sink water faucet on right side leaked when we used it - towel bar on the shower glass sliding door fell off when we opened the shower the first time - towel bar on the wall in bathroom was loose - to “wake up” the electronic lock, you need to use your whole hand and not just a finger. Small detail but it wasn’t something we figured out for the first three days we were there, causing it to take longer to get in and leave the condo. These are minor areas for improvement and in fairness to Captain Cook, and our manager, we never told them about these issues to give them a chance to correct it. My family would recommend this complex and this condo to friends and family.

Wonderful Rental

Perfect all-around rental for the purpose of our stay. Beach and any essential area within walking distance. Landlord very accommodating, kind, and easy to reach. You will not regret staying here.

We were sad the pool and jacuzzi were not available during our stay. We met some one that once they checked in, they found out the pool/ jacuzzi were out, they cancelled and got another location no charge. I didn’t think of that. All the staff did was fix a hole in the pool and paint the floor. They should’ve done that in the winter

I was just OK with the condo. No dishwasher, no free washer/dryer inside the condo, no AC in the bedroom, only one outlet in the bedroom, one elevator not running, the tub is too high to get in and out of, the TV was too complicated to turn on and off with two remotes ( so we could not watch it), and the couch is soiled. Also, on our first day, there was no parking pass, so we were inconvenienced by having to trade off the temporary pass to a permanent one the next day. Sorry, but those were the issues I experienced.

Nice place, would stay again

My family and I enjoyed our stay! Great location near (10 min walk) the beach in a quieter area but easy walking distance to all the fun things Waikiki has to offer. The beach chairs and kitchen made our stay more pleasant. Nice expansive view over the pool deck and ocean. Host staff helpful on check-in and checkout.

Amazing view of the ocean!

The ambiance overall was perfect! Whatever I do in the kitchen every morning, I still get to enjoy the view. I sit outside and enjoy my coffee in the morning or enjoy my cocktail at night with the city lights and pool view to enjoy. We get a good sleep every night. The kids were very curious with the bidet. I have used it in the past in a hotel but never owned one, maybe now 😂. The communication with the property manager was excellent and made our stay peaceful. Mahalo!

Great location, responsive staff. Clean room with comfortable sheets and bed! would definitely recommend especially if staying with younger kids (we had a 2 and 3 y/o). Also helpful was the same floor washer/dryer unit. Thanks for a great stay!
