PICTURESQUE LAGOON & OCEAN VIEWS

Beautiful views are seen from anywhere in this comfortably decorated condominium. Sliding glass doors give access to two spacious lanais where views of the Pacific Ocean, Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, and Ala Wai Yacht Harbor.

This amazing, 1000sq.ft, ocean-view condominium is located on the tenth floor on the coolest and most desired side of the property. Our condominium features a classic tropical theme, koa wood plank flooring, Shoji-Hawaii room divider, 2-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms (one includes handicap safety features and accessibility), fully equipped kitchen, dining & living room with a desk for personal or business use, and two large lanais for enjoying the views with morning coffee and/or sharing evening meals.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the second bedroom features twin beds that can convert into a king size bed. In the living room, there is a queen size sofa bed. This unit can sleep six people.

It has two HD LCD flat-screen TVs, a split AC system, and free cable, Internet, a library of novels (take one /leave one) and games.

The best rental price for a 2-bedroom condo on the lagoon & ocean side of the Ilikai.

This Hawaiian condo home offers the comforts and conveniences of home. It is well-maintained, reasonably priced, and conveniently located – just a 15-minute walk to the upscale Ala Moana Shopping Mall and Waikiki Beach attractions.

There is valet parking available at a daily rate with NO self-park option available.

We recommend renting a reasonably priced car on a daily basis. Hertz and Dollar car rental are located in the Ilikai lobby and Enterprise car rental agency is located in the Discovery Bay building across the street.

Public transportation is available and easy! When on the island that is how we get around!

The location is great. Close to restaurants and shopping. Lots to do. The restaurant downstairs is great. We loved the balcony views over the city and looking out to ocean. Sunsets are amazing. Kitchen is great for a small family like ours. We didn’t do much cooking, but made coffee and breakfasts easy. Bedroom 1 with the twin beds is nice, although I'm not sure its comfortable for a couple bc the twins are separate from each other. Shower in Bedroom 1 is very nice. Bedroom 2 with the queen is comfortable as well. However, the bathroom for BR 2 was not clean: dirty washcloth, trash leftover and hair in the shower. A newer shower head would be great too. The couches are comfortable and there is a LOT of space...way better than a basic hotel. I strongly suggest replacing the rug in the living room. It's very dirty. Overall, my review of 4 out of 5 is based on things that are fixable- replace the rug, advertise twin beds instead of king, replace shower heads and get pictures of the showers when the staff claims it's clean.

The condo is in an excellent location and close to Waikiki beach, Ala Moana Mall, Royal Hawaiian Center, and International Marketplace. However, the condo needs to be remodeled since there's no fan in the bathrooms, old cabinets, old carpets, and no toaster oven. The AC was cool in the first few days, but did not work well toward the end of our stay. The condo had balconies with beautiful views. The staff and valet at Ilikai provided great customer service and were very helpful in answering any questions. We had a wonderful time in Hawaii and hope to visit again soon. Aloha and mahalo! :)

Such a great location. This unit was ideal for our family. The balcony views of the Marina, Lagoon, and beach were outstanding. The kitchen was well equipped. Appreciated the cooler and boogie boards! I would definitely recommend this unit to others.

It was nice to have paid self parking across the street (33/day) and all the eateries coffee, bakery, ice cream, restaurant, wine, grocery and gifts shop all on the lobby floor so convenient. The bathroom and kitchen were not impressed. Tiny bottles of shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom. Pots, pans, coffee maker, utensils not in good shape. No basic kitchen supplies like coffee pot filters, plastic wrap, ziplock or foil. No seasoning or designated spot for seasonings. We bought everything for the kitchen but afraid to leave anything behind for risking extra charges because no designated spot for any kitchen supplies. We would rate higher if the kitchen is stocked with a bit of basic supplies and just salt/seasonings. We stayed 4 nights.

This property is listed as "3 bedroom" but it is one bedroom remodeled into 2 bedroom. The "3rd bedroom" is a couch in the living room. The host said that it is totally fine to misrepresent an appt like that and refused to refund our money. We had to rent another property for the 3rd bedroom at the last moment. Be careful, it is a scam.

Excellent location! Nice view of the lagoon, ocean, and marina. It was great to watch the hawaiian hilton luau every night that it ahowed. Close to ala moana mall, international market place and the trolley/bus lines. Will be back , thank you!

Family vacation

Beautiful weather. Condo was well equipped & ready for us. Honolulu is certainly a busy city with alot of activities going on, especially on the weekend. Views were amazing. Parking is always an issue, we chose to rent a vehicle & use the valet service. Valets were always available - helpful & brought the car quickly. Certainly enjoyed our stay, but look forward to our next stop, Kauai, for some quiet time.

Time with Family

We enjoyed a full week on the island with sight seeing adventures and plenty of beach time. The pool was often crowded when we were available to go in - just our luck. One of the main reasons we chose this type of lodging was to save cost on meals. Cooking meals was a little challenging as there was limited utensils, dishes, cookware, and not even salt and pepper nor oil. We needed to purchase dish soap, foil, anything non-perishable. This has not been our experience at other VRBO type rentals but I guess each management group is different. If we had known this in advance we could have packed some items. Purchasing on the island is expensive. Please be aware that if you rent a car plan the extra cost for parking. Perhaps there could be package arrangement made to absorb some of that cost. Just a thought. Other than that this was a lovely resident with beautiful accommodations decorated in a Hawaiian theme.
