"The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. "Our family of three stayed here for a few days while visiting Hilo. I was very impressed with how clean and nice-looking our rental unit was.The grounds were beautiful with ponds, jungle, and wildlife. My daughter enjoyed the ducks that walked around and even named them. I appreciated the laundry access in the building as well. All the directions given by the host were easy to understand and follow regarding rules and check-in/check-out. Overall we had a pleasant stay, and would 100% reccommend!"

It was perfect for me in all ways - fantastic location, nice complex, very clean, lovely lanai, close to a beautiful park for walks/jogs.
