Had the reviews mentioned the road work & the silt & that the water was not that great we would have not booked. The reef is not that close. When we got a car we spent or time elsewhere.No fault of Sundancer but reviews should have mentioned the amount of road work! "We loved the area! The place is super nice and very quaint."

"This was our second visit to Phoenix House. The primary reason we like this location (Sundancer) is the access to the reef. There are very few places in the tropical snorkeling business in the world where you can access a coral reef with a 10 minute swim. No boat rental necessary. Yes, you cross a boat channel, so heads up. My idea of heaven."

"Me encantó la propiedad, las habitaciones, la atención en recepción, las piscinas y el Beach Club son fantásticas, lo único que deben de mejorar en la comida, pedimos cena a la habitación y las papas llevaron crudas y llenas de aceite, las baleadas del desayuno estaban quemadas y la atención de las muchachas que estaban en el restaurante Pérgolas no fue muy buena, pero la atención en el bar La Palapa sí fue excelente. Las habitaciones son espaciosas, aseadas y muy ordenas y tienen todo lo básico. Definitamente si recomiendo el hotel y yo encantada de regresar y mi hijo igual. "
