Visit close by Blakeney for a spot of crab lining then head west to Wells-next-the-Sea and watch the boats bob on the picturesque quay or head to the wide, sandy beach, which is lined with painted beach huts. Head east and discover the coastal town of Sheringham which is home to Sheringham Park and North Norfolk Railway or make like generations before you and take in the sea air at Cromer with a stroll on the iconic pier. Those wishing to also explore the Norfolk Broads can be in the heart of these waterways in around 45 minutes and the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle and many other attractions is a similar distance too.
