At the price of Oceanview, with ease of Oceanfront, the sand is mere steps away. Beach access is directly across the single street from this ideal rental. And don't forget to bring your fur-babies to this dog friendly rental.

Just 2 miles south of Surf City Pier and 1 mile north of a historic Bumblebee Tower sits the Barefoot Bumblebee. Enjoy one of the quieter stretches of the island while being close to dining, entertainment, and local shops. You will enjoy plenty of space for your whole family in the comfortable living room and around the large dining table (with an available leaf for further enlargement plus four bar height counter seats). The roomy kitchen includes everything you need to prepare fine coastal cuisine.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Bumblebee portion of the Barefoot Bumblebee’s name pays tribute to the rich history of Topsail Island? An original Operation Bumblebee tower stands just a mile away. Not long after the end of WWII, from 1946 to 1948, the United States began a program testing rockets to be used in modern jet propulsion, spacecraft, and missiles. The program, “Operation Bumblebee,” was named because, like the missiles of the time, bumblebees should not be able to fly.” And yet they did. More Topsail history can be found at the Missiles and More Museum, located just down the road, in the heart of Topsail Beach.
