"This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay ."

"Lots of onsite parking and hotel adjacent to the pub. Very pleasant staff all round and good selection of beers. Food was good quality and very hot. Breakfast was great and a wide selection to choose from. Our room was ground floor as requested and was nice and warm. Very large bed and whole room and bathroom was excellent. Great value for money and will definitely be back on our next trip to Wigan."

"We have stayed a few times but before the hotel was closed for a few months we always enjoyed it here. We got into the room and the TV wasn’t working properly, staff did come to try fix it then the maintenance man. He couldn’t fix it so said he would speak to reception and ask for us to be moved, we waited an hour then went to reception the message had not been passed on. "The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu. "I have now stayed here 3times in 6 weeks I love the place staff brilliant I travel to watch Wigan at rugby league 230 miles each time as for the beds the most comfortable I have had and I do not stay in the same room different each time wake up really refreshed love the place"
