Also, the always available coffee was great for my pre-dawn bird watching (which was excellent in the garden). It’s a little bit out of easy walking to places like the train station, and beware that Uber availability is poor in Lucerne."

"The property is beautiful and it is fun to ride the funicular up and down to get there. The hotel is close to everything so it is a great location. Our issue was with the room. I know it’s an old building and perhaps little can be done, but our tiny room consisted of a bed up a rickety, noisy stair case and a bathroom which was literally the entryway of our room on the first level.
