Welcome to The Stable, a charming retreat that beautifully blends historical charm with modern design. This unique accommodation is situated at 258 Macquarie Street, Hobart, in a meticulously converted barn that has undergone a stunning architect-designed transformation. The property also features three other apartments in a separate building at the front, offering diverse accommodations for visitors.

With a fascinating history, 258 Macquarie Street has served as a private home, a furniture manufacturer, an insurance office, and even provided secure accommodation for individuals transitioning back into society. The recent refurbishment has preserved period features, allowing you to appreciate traces of the past in the vintage wallpaper, original paint finishes, wooden fittings, and stonework.
