Tucked away privately at the rear of the property complex, this beautifully renovated studio offers a fresh, modern and incredibly comfortable space to relax while exploring Southern Tasmania. Although compact in size, the layout has been thoughtfully designed to maximise comfort, functionality and privacy, making it perfect for couples, solo travellers, work trips or convenient overnight airport stays.

Inside, guests are welcomed into a completely refreshed interior where everything is brand new, from the furnishings and appliances through to the heating and finishes. The studio features a comfortable queen bed, quality linen, a Smart TV and a brand-new heat pump to keep the space warm and cosy throughout Tasmania’s cooler months while also providing cooling during summer.

The kitchenette has been beautifully finished with modern cabinetry, an induction cooktop, air fryer, washer/dryer combo, bar fridge and all the essentials needed to prepare simple meals during your stay. There is also a Nespresso coffee pod machine, perfect for slow mornings before heading out to explore Hobart and the surrounding coastline.

The bathroom is modern, slim and fresh, continuing the same newly renovated feel carried throughout the entire property. Outside, guests can enjoy a small outdoor seating area, ideal for a morning coffee or relaxing after a day of travel or sightseeing.

Positioned behind the main home and accessed via the side gate, the studio feels safe, quiet and tucked away while still being incredibly close to everything. The location is one of the property’s standout features. Hobart Airport is only around five minutes away, making late arrivals and early departures incredibly easy. Seven Mile Beach, local cafes, shopping in Sorell, and the Cambridge shopping precinct are all within minutes, while Hobart CBD and MONA are both an easy drive away.

Guests have full access to the property. There are no shared spaces or areas that are off-limits during your stay.

Midway Point is one of Southern Tasmania’s most convenient and underrated locations, perfectly positioned between Hobart, the airport and the stunning South East coastline. Guests can enjoy easy access to Seven Mile Beach for long walks and swimming, while nearby Sorell offers supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and all essential shopping. Cambridge is also only minutes away and features local eateries, shopping outlets, a driving range and larger retail stores. With Hobart CBD only around 20 minutes away and MONA roughly 30 minutes away, this location makes the perfect base for both quick stopovers and longer Tasmanian adventures.

Having a vehicle is the easiest way to explore the area and wider Southern Tasmania, with convenient access to Hobart, the Tasman Peninsula, Seven Mile Beach and surrounding suburbs. Street parking is available directly outside the property. Please note that the driveway is reserved for the front house only. Uber and taxi services are readily available throughout the area, and Hobart Airport is only a short five-minute drive away.

Uber ride is roughly $12-15 from the aiport.

This studio is one of three separate dwellings positioned on the overall property. The studio is privately located at the rear left-hand side of the complex and has its own private entrance and outdoor area.

Please note that parking for the studio is on the street only. The driveway is reserved for the front three-bedroom house, and we kindly ask guests not to park in the driveway at any time.

The property is fitted with an induction cooktop and air fryer, however there is no traditional oven.
