The bathroom was very clean, the shower was great with variable pressure and very warm. I appreciated they had a hairdryer. "the hotel was very nice. Very modern, decorated lobby with lots of seating. Bar was nice as well. Room was very nice, we had a couch that we could use to put our luggage on. Very quiet. I like when the sink is outside of the toilet area so two people can get ready more easily. The shower area and toilet area was very small and it was easy for the water from the shower to get over by the toilet and there was no drain on that side"

"I was surprised by how nice this property was. Our room even had a couch in it. The kitchen was well equipped. I wish we were able to stay more than one night!"

"If I could give them 8 stars out of 5 I would. This place is a gem. The owners are so welcoming and helpful and the guesthouse (which the owner designed) is beautiful. So beautifully decorated and warm and homey. The breakfast was perfect. HOMEMADE BREAD! and so many other choices. A perfect Icelandic breakfast. We are so happy we stayed there two nights. By far this was the best place we stayed at in Iceland!"

"Need to have parking, closer. Coffee press would be nice. We did not have the coffee pods that were needed. We had to go by coffee. Illy coffee was great though, but it would have been nice to make coffee in the apartment. Owner was super helpful and friendly. "

"Overall it was a good, cheap stay for a night. It's not very far from all the restaurants and bars, but it is also at the top of a fairly large hill. The facilities were nice enough. Though the tv in my room was flickering. I'd recommend if you just need a place to stay for a night or two. "

"Unfortunately, we never received the check-in information regarding the cabin. We’re staying in ahead of time, but we figured it out on our own when I try to contact the owner. Their information wasn’t on the Expedia website cabinet was clean but needs some updating, but this area is very beautiful. Some of the cabins look like they’ve been updated so I’m hoping they get to the one that we stayed in as well.
