"The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. We would definitely stay...

"This was such a cozy, fun place to stay! Very pet friendly. We felt so welcomed. The host is very responsive and so nice. Check-in was super easy. The property is gorgeous and if you want a getaway, that is quiet, but still not too far away from fun, restaurants, Shenandoah national park, etc this is the place for you! "

"My partner and I stayed here for two nights and it was just lovely! The drive in was beautiful and low stress since I downloaded the map so I could access it offline. The check-in process was easy and the hosts left a wonderful loaf of home made sourdough bread for us.The mountains were beautiful and so relaxing. "We loved our stay here. The property was super clean and quiet. The hot tub and grill both worked as advertised. One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. While we managed in a Tesla model 3, I wouldn’t advise it, particularly if it is wet. "

"Very quiet and private. Kitchen was stocked with cooking necessities and had some seasoning, flour, and sugar. Host was great about returning messages and making your stay comfortable. Came to a warm cabin because they started the woodstove for us. They also left snacks and cookies. The cabin was in a good location. Close enough to the main road, but far enough it was quiet and peaceful. It was nice sitting outside by the fire and not seeing anyone or hearing traffic go by."

"Everything with this rental was flawless! Great communication and message response time. It is a lovely and cozy rental. Loved the coffee and snack station. Perfect spot near JMU and the historic downtown area. Will definitely plan a stay here again! Only regret is we only got a chance to stay one night!"
