"A fun place to stay with activities for all ages. As a family, we enjoyed the crazy golf, putting practice and swimming pool. Restaurant service was very slow for evening meal. It took nearly 3 hours for us to finish, but the food was good. Breakfast buffet was fine, enough choice for all. Room was clean and spacious, nice to have a small fridge included. Beds were comfortable. We slept well after removing the duvets from covers, as the room was very warm. A pleasant stay overall. "

"Lovely quiet and massive grounds covered in nature and very well kept, the accomodations were lovely and everything whilst on the higher end price wise was worth every penny. Would happily return. Some of the staff really set the hotel apart by being more accomodating than most "

"I was working in the area and needed somewhere with a gym and pool. Found this gem and I wasn't disappointed. The gym was great for a hotel and the pool area was amazing. Everything here that was needed, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and food were superb and again the staff were great. Couldn't fault this place for a first visit. "We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round ."

"We had a lovely stay at the Marquis, our suite was lovely and had a private west facing balcony so we watched a lovely sunset over the river. Dinner was excellent, as was the wine, highly recommended. Staff were all really friendly and helpful."
