Christmas in the Mtns with Amazing Mountain Views!

Come spend Christmas time at Lakota Lodge! Every level is decorated and it feels like you are at home, only in the mountains!

Welcome to Lakota Lodge! This 4,200 sqft mountain retreat is nestled between Lake Chatuge and beautiful Brasstown Bald with year around 270-degree mountain views! Lakota Lodge sits on top of the mountain and provides plenty of privacy during your stay. All cars are capable of driving up our paved road to the Lodge!

Stay with us during December and enjoy our fully decorated home with trees on every floor and 12ft Christmas tree in the main living area! No one decorates their home for Christmas quite like we do!

This luxurious lodge has a fully equipped kitchen for great family gatherings and a gorgeous vaulted living room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The living room leads to a large deck overlooking the breathtaking views! Enjoy the outdoors with chairs to relax in, an outdoor table for dining, and grilling on the gas grill.

On the main level, there are two masters with king-size beds and two bathrooms. The loft above the living room is equipped with both a queen bed and a lush futon. There is a large king-size bedroom, a day bed, a sleeper sofa in the game room, and a full-sized bathroom on the lowest level.

There is something fun for all ages in this home! The game room includes a flat-screen TV, pool table, dartboard, poker table, and a variety of board games for everyone to enjoy. There is also a fun and inviting reading nook for children to play in and enjoy!

In the evening, you can relax by the outdoor fire pit roasting smores under the stars!

We have two security cameras outside of the home facing both of our entrances to the home, as it is the only house on top of that mountain. There are no cameras inside the home.

Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs for any reason due to severe allergies in our family.

This is a family-friendly lodge therefore we are extremely particular in the groups we rent to. We do not allow any parties or any kind to stay. We do require a phone call so we can introduce ourselves, tell you more about the property, and learn more about your group. We want our property to be right for your stay and your stay to be right for our property. Please provide a bit of information on your group when inquiring with us! We look forward to meeting you!

In order to make our home more affordable for smaller groups we have a base rate for 8 people and any reservations over 8 people will have a charge for each additional guest. If we find that you have booked for 8 people and you bring more, you will be charged. Our home sleeps no more than 11 people. We do not allow outside visitors without approval.

Hilltop treasure

Stunning

This place is a must stay. Gorgeous views and a beautifully well maintained home. Every comfort you could wish for in a home away from home. Marvelous View in Beautiful Home

This was our second visit to this wonderful home for our family. We were so impressed with this beautiful home in 2019 that we had to return in 2021. It is located near many activities for our whole family so the kids were thrilled to return. The amenities were first class and the kitchen had about anything equipment wise you will need. Linens and towels are top notch which adds to the experience. Kristin was a tremendous help and made sure she was available for any questions. The view cannot be described in words you need to see it in person. The photos do not do it justice. Definitely a 5 star experience! JoAnn Barksdale

Wish we could have stayed longer

I don't think I have ever experienced such a nice warm welcome. From the phone call prior to our arrival to the email response when we had a question .... these are the people you want to deal with. Not to mention the view is insane and they literally have anything you will ever need. Stay, you won't regret it and it's worth every penny. I'm ready to come back for sure. I could just sit on the porch the entire time and be in nature. Thanks for being so great!

Stunning and Relaxing!!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Lakota Lodge. Kid friendly with plenty to do for adults as well. Great location and we enjoyed all of the hiking and waterfalls nearby. The owner was helpful with recommendations and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Would easily stay here again- one of our favorite vacations with many memories made! If you are looking at this property, book it now! You won't regret it!

Well maintained, incredible views and geat location!

Well maintained lodge with incredible views. We spent Thanksgiving week with 6 adults and 6 kids and this rental was perfect. The fire pit nightly and game room were a big hit for adults and kids. Owners are hands on and have all the amenities you would need for kitchen, game area, fire pit, and bathrooms. Location is secluded and quiet at top of the mountain, yet very quick drive to the town for all you need. The drive up the hill the first time takes some concentration but once you have done it once and come down once you will be all set. Location was perfect for the area, 30 min. to Helen for Anna Ruby Falls(easy hike and beautiful), Zip line course, great shopping and the Mountain Coaster, 45 min. to Mercier Orchards/Blue Ridge area, and 15 min. to Brasstown Valley for horseback riding and the Bald Mountain hiking. It was easy and convenient to all attractions. We have been to this area multiple times and this is the best property we have experienced.

Perfect Hideaway

Lakota Lodge is what you think of when you want to get out of the 'city' and head for the mountains. OK, the road to the top of the mountain where this beautiful home dominates the skyline, can be a bit challenging for some but the view from the terrace makes up for it. We've traveled worldwide and this lodge stands out as one of our best trips.
