  • Cabaña tradicional en zona rural con estufa de leña, ideal para caminantes cerca de Pennine Way, Kielder Water y Hexham de fácil acceso. Planta baja:
    Espacio abierto de vivienda.
    Sala de estar: con estufa de leña y TV con canales Freeview.
    Comedor.
    Área de cocina: con cocina eléctrica, microondas, nevera / congelador y lavavajillas.
    Primer piso:
    Dormitorio 1: con cama doble y vigas.
    Dormitorio 2: con dos camas individuales y vigas.
    Cuarto de baño con ducha en el baño y aseo.. Ambas propiedades: calefacción central eléctrica, electricidad, ropa de cama, toallas y Wi-Fi incluidos. Registros iniciales para estufa de leña incluidos. Cuarto de servicio externo con lavadora y secadora (compartido con otras propiedades en el sitio). Pequeño jardín cerrado con césped y muebles de jardín (compartido con otras propiedades en el lugar). Tienda de bicicletas. Estacionamiento privado. No Fumar.. Situado a aproximadamente ½ milla del atractivo pueblo de Wark, este par de cómodas casas de vacaciones (referencias N832 y 26032) conservan el carácter y la estructura de las instalaciones de estabulación originales del siglo XIX y están situadas en los terrenos de la "Rectoría" georgiana del propietario.

    Galardonado con el estatus de Parque Dark Sky por la Junta de Turismo de Northumberland, estas cabañas se encuentran en un entorno tranquilo rodeado de hermosos paisajes al borde del Parque Nacional de Northumberland.

    Excelente ubicación para caminar, con Pennine Way pasando a poco más de una milla. Conveniente para recorrer las históricas ciudades del mercado de Hexham y Corbridge, 11 millas. El muro de Adriano, el castillo y los jardines de Alnwick, el agua de Kielder, la isla sagrada de Lindisfarne, el castillo de Bamburgh y la costa. Escocia y el Lake District están a poca distancia. My family and I really enjoyed our holiday.

My family and I really enjoyed our holiday. It was a lovely cottage with beautiful views; it was clean, quiet (just what we needed) therefore very relaxing, with satisfactory amenities.Also, it was close to all the sites we wanted to visit.Only negatives were the shower that did not stay at a constant temperature, and a toilet door that was difficult to shut when the toilet seat was down.

Lovely little cottage - good off road parking - very well equipped kitchen - comfy sofas - pretty bedrooms - comfy beds - lovely outlook - lots of places to visit until this 2nd lockdown. Waitrose and Tesco in Hexham if you are wondering where to buy your food - but there are pubs in the vicinity if you want to eat out. Owners are delightful folk. Loved the wood burning stove - heating was effective - all in all I am hoping to return in happier times. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

There are a few country cottage quirks but nothing that would stop me from returning or from recommending it. A friend has already booked it for the October holiday. The welcoming hosts, Bruce and Sally, complement the lovely place with the perfect balance of being on hand and helpful, whilst also leaving us to make the cottage (as well as the fantastic gardens!) our home-from-home. It was a completely superb spot which gave us a magical week with our twin 10 yr old grandsons; a much-needed tonic after months of family separation and lockdown. One morning I managed to drive our car into a ditch a few miles up a hill (taking photos of the splendid early morning views). I called my husband who found Bruce who immediately organised the rescue of the Damsel in Distress. The twin grandsons loved every minute of that adventure as well as all the rest. We will be back! It is a lovely cottage in a stunning location.

It is a lovely cottage in a stunning location. The owners are fantastic and the welcome bottle of wine and some pheasant later in the week were hugely appreciated. The facilities aren’t geared for lots of tech etc, but curled up with a book or the TV in front of the wood burning stove in the evenings was bliss! The mattress was perhaps a little uncomfy for me, but I get easily achey! We would most certainly stay again.
