"great place to stay , very friendly husband and wife team, fresh hot cook breakfast, good recomendation for Take"

"We received a warm welcome from Kevin and given a little tour of downstairs which consisted of a breakfast room and a good size comfy sitting area, the honest bar is a nice touch. We were then shown to our room on the first floor No2 which was a good size bedroom/shower room. Breakfast is chosen the day before via a tick sheet which is on two sides so plenty of choices, on both days it was delicious. Would definitely recommend!"

"Everything was brilliant !! Would definitely recommend"

"Lovely, comfortable rooms. Very helpful in accommodating my late check-in."

"Loved the position of the rooms, overlooking the hills. No stairs. Large facilities. Offload parking, no charge. Lovely staff, nothing too much trouble Ate at the pub, good selection of pub food and drinks. Would have liked complimentary shower gel."

"The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. Still, the staff were friendly and welcoming, we absolutely loved the estate and we look forward to visiting again soon. It's a great place for families who enjoy outdoor activities. I enjoyed a delicious Indian breakfast which made a nice change, and my daughter enjoyed her...

"We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. "

"We had a very enjoyable stay. Ann & Baratt were great hosts. Good location for visiting Monmouth."

"Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden."

"Beautiful location. Great breakfast."
