"This hotel has a very special atmosphere which somehow makes you instantly relax. The hotel team are extremely helpful and the food is some of the best we have ever tasted. The bedrooms are small but that is the only slight downside. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the mattresses are very comfortable. Breakfast is 10/10. Parking is easy. The location is perfect. We can't wait to return. "

"What a lovely hotel! Situated close to the beautiful town of Grasmere, and on the edge of the lake which was so picturesque you could sit and watch the view for hours - we did this whilst sipping a drink on the outside seating area. The spa was a perfect way to relax after a day of walking. We got the bus to walk the Fairfield Horseshoe but there are so many other walks to choose from (the bus stops are a fee meters away in either durection). "The most amazing anniversary stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in an amazing location with a lot of hikes nearby. The hotel room we stayed in had a hot tub in and it was lovely to relax. We attended the spa as well which was gorgeous!"
