When you’re ready to eat, the well-equipped kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel appliances and everything you’ll need to prepare home-cooked meals. Or opt for a simple but delicious option, and cook out on the gas grill.

Offering a convenient but peaceful location, your hideaway is within walking distance of downtown Helen. Find a wide array of attractions nearby, including river tubing, a go-kart track, horse and carriage rides, a skating rink, a game room, and train rides. There are also plenty of restaurants close by.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location! Spacious enough for us and our two college-age daughters to share for an extended weekend! Having a recliner for each person made for great comfort for the moments spent in after our adventures around town.

Very nice and clean. Accessible to downtown area. Only complaint- y’all need a mirror either in the bathroom or main area that can be used by someone other than 7 ft tall. Or either provide a step stool.

Awful

The couch was covered in mildew. Called and reported NO ONE ever showed up finally spoke to a person after we got home. We had to leave early because a person with us has asthma and went to have trouble because of the home. We had to purchase items and clean it to even be able to stay in the home. We were only refunded a cleaning fee and I feel like we should have been refunded the money we payed to stay since we had to spend our vacation cleaning and then had to leave early! This was horrible

Great location and easy stay

Great location right in town. Literally 1 minute walk to Bettys. Nice cabin with everything we needed for a 3 day stay. Will book again next year.

Only issue

The property is nice and in a great location. Biggest issue is it’s adjacent to a property that shares the only two parking spaces for the properties. When we arrived the guest at the other property occupied both spaces so we had to park across the street at a church. Fortunately the church was okay with this but in the future they may not be, especially on Sunday as it was posted not to park there on Sundays due to services. A second set of spaces should be added to the property we stayed in to prevent any parking issues. I contacted the property manager and the only advice they gave was try and find free parking.

Perfect for Our Weekend

My daughter and I are writers and we needed a weekend getaway spot that we could write and still get into a town for food and drinks! This was the perfect place! The beds were perfect - nice and firm! There was a table as well as a comfy couch to sit on while we wrote/talked about our books. We took a break and watched a movie on the TV, which was great! The shower head has excellent water pressure. It was within walking distance of town - just around the corner from Betty's Store! It is a studio room that was perfect for our needs! It is located on Midway St across from the church parking lot! It was a little confusing finding it, so just drive down Midway and you'll see it! It's the street in between Betty's and the package store heading out of Helen to the north!

We will never stay there again

In the contract, it was specified we would get two parking places. We had to park in the church parking lot across the street. The location of the lock box to retrieve the key was not provided. I found it on the inside of the porch post. The operation of the lock box was not provided. A small door on the front of the lock box had to be pushed down to reveal the combination tumblers. It was very difficult to unlock and open the door. I had to pull hard on the door to get the dead bolt to move and the door drags on the threshold. The wood floor was very noisy to walk on. The beds were very hard. The location of the TV in relation to the recliners made it difficult to watch TV. It was very difficult to contact the host Vacasa. Sometimes, it took a day for Vacasa to reply to messages. In fact, Vacasa replied to message a day after we checked out. The only good thing was the close location to Main Street.
